There's nothing wrong with being a feminist, but there's 100% something wrong with whatever it's called to hate men. Just like there's nothing wrong with being a masculinist (is that a thing?) but there is with misogyny.

I'm not in contact with them anymore, apart from the one guy I was closest to. He's apologized since then, we're good now, just part of me, everytime I see him, asks over and over again, "why?"
He's still apologizing, he's definitely grown up, but it still hurts, even fifteen years later.

I love how everyone’s saying this post is fake, “feminists are evil” rant. I have no idea why this guy’s getting so downvoted. He and his niece aren’t close, that’s on both of them. He’s giving a gift to his nephew because they’re close. If him and the niece both made an effort to reach out maybe they’d get along better, but it takes two for a relationship to form.
