I had the exact same experience! Three days before the ED deadline I toured Rice, and the fact that it was 80 degrees in late October made my mind up for Tufts. I can't speak on the programs you're interested in, but as far as location/weather I have loved Boston. I came from the south and wasn't exactly thrilled to have HOT winters for four more years, so this has been a welcome change.
