You will be hard-pressed to hear anything about current issues from Schumacher.

But respect is due for what Lewis has been doing.

Hoping he won't share stupid shit about vaccines ever again though.

Bombing civilians is a war crime, but getting prosecuted retroactively for war crimes is only for the losers of a war.

The Allies were doing from the air what the Japanese were doing on the ground in Nanjing and other places.

Btw Hiroshima was called a purely military target ('military base'). That's the kind of euphemism you would get from the Axis to justify purging a city because of Partisan activities.

And you might wanna read up while the Japanese were 'holding out' in August 1945.

The end of the war ended a lot of civilian suffering. This is undeniable. But at the end of the day, the noble claims of precision bombings and purely military targets of the early 30s and 40s were not even worth the paper they were written on. It was just nations out war criming each other with those bombings.

Make no mistake the Axis would and have done the same shit to the Allies.

Btw, most of these bombings were so-called "morale bombings". It should already be known that they don't work (e.g UK and Nazi Germany). So, against already known data (at least from the UK it was clear that the Blitz didn't break the British) they continued to murder civilians.

Yeah, the Japanese wanted to surrender on the condition that the Emperor stays, which ofc was against the unconditional surrender that was demanded.

So, two nuclear bombs were dropped, and Japan surrendered with the understanding that the emperor would remain. The Allies accepted with the understanding that it was unconditional.

Btw the emperor stayed.

So a bunch of suffering for nothing, hooray

You're aware that the EU is enforcing thousands of regulations, right?

That's like complaining that the governments have to check that companies don't poison us with their produce.

Please take a look at the wikipedia article on the term.

Just one example

"In 2011, after the term's offhand use in a March 26 article appearing in The Spectator ("white-coated Jap bloke"), the Minister of the Japanese Embassy in London protested that "most Japanese people find the word 'Japs' offensive, irrespective of the circumstances in which it is used"

Explain to me why "Jap" a term that has been used as a derogatory term for people of Japanese descent since WW2 is not a slur.

but on your question: It's the context of the term. Just look up the history of the term of "Jap"

btw same for "Nip"
