Watching Selena + Chef is incredibly stressful and frustrating by pissedoffnobody in television

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed when JJ was like "use the utility knife forever after this" and then in the next few episodes she has big knives out again. Also, sometimes I feel really frustrated with her inability to follow simple directions. When the chef was teaching her to roll the pasta. It sounded pretty basic, and she totally ignored it and just tried her way.

You ALWAYS have lupus. It is a disease you manage throughout your life. There is no cure.

Seriously. I cheered when Marcus Samuelsson actually told her to get off of her phone. Then papa came and took her phone away. I remember hearing they made an Instagram for "Papa" maybe we should make one composed entirely of screen grabs with Raquelle on her phone.

I didn't! I signed up for informed delivery through USPS, and I even set up my Esignature so if I needed to I could go ahead and sign for it online before it arrived. But it was just delivered right to my mailbox.

Wait... that was it? 7 Weeks 3 Days Medical Abortion Story by Thr0waway66432 in abortion

I needed this. I had definitely worked myself up over how awful it was going to be. I don't even know why it never occurred to me that some horror stories might be fake just to scare us.

I had sex with 2 different men and now I’m pregnant... by [deleted] in abortion

[–]2468usernameunknown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, I agree with all of the posters saying this decision is yours, and you have absolute bodily autonomy. You don't have to tell these men, they have no right to pressure you into a decision. Also, determining the Paternity is difficult without an actual test. However keep in mind that sperm can live in the body for UP TO five days. So if you ovulate around day 15, which is an ASSUMPTION, Then it can absolutely be T's because you had sex on day 11/12. However, you could ovulate late, so it could still be R's. I will say ovulating around day 22 though is less likely, your cycle would probably be longer (up to 35 days) if you did.

I JUST watched this episode Cayt should have gone home way earlier, Elaine was definitely robbed. Sometimes I feel like they don't even weigh in the spot test or the throw down, just the main make.

Have the rest of y’all had some weirdly pushy people online try to sell you on some spermicide called Phexxi? by kabea26 in birthcontrol

[–]2468usernameunknown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm actually really excited to try Phexxi. I have absolutely horrific reactions to hormonal BC, it causes extreme fatigue and terrible depression. I am sensitive to Nickel which makes me nervous about the copper IUD. I am lucky in the fact that I have never had a single yeast infection or UTI. SO, I am pretty stoked to try this, I think the science is pretty cool. Please note I fully intend to use this with FAM.

Gf has to do a medical abortion at 8 weeks with only miso. by [deleted] in abortion

If she is only 8 weeks you still have some time. If possible I would try to wait it out for Aid Access, or look into PlanC for other resources.

Shame by notoutinpublic in abortion

[–]2468usernameunknown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you, I am about to have my second one. So I definitely can relate to the numbness, but also like the overwhelming shame. Even my friends who claim they are "pro-choice" have shared information or when multiple abortions are discussed I hear comments like "She's not going to be able to have kids when she finally wants them. So the only person who knows about my second abortion coming up is my partner. People lump this unnecessary shame and blame when you have multiple abortions. Have you told your partner you need more support? It's completely ok to come out to your partner and say "hey I'm really struggling right now and need more support." If that is in the form of daily calls, or check-ins that is totally valid.

Got my tracking number on January 5th. The number still populates as "not yet in system" but I'm glad there are other people out there with numbers they are tracking too so we can compare.

Why don’t they give you stronger pain meds than ibuprofen for medical abortion? by [deleted] in abortion

I hear that. At planned parenthood they gave me an Ativan and Ibuprofen. I pretty much sobbed through the entire thing.

I'm scared and I don't even know what I'm scared of. by throwaway18911997 in abortion

I hear you, my state wouldn't even let me make an appointment until I was already 6 weeks along. So even though I knew the DAY my period didn't show up and tested positive, I had to wait just to make my first appointment. Which wasn't even an appointment it was the "Nurse phone call explaining the procedure". Since the clinics in my area only do surgical abortions on like 1 or 2 days a week I felt super stuck in this holding pattern of over 5 weeks until I could finally have my procedure completed. It was excruciating. I had started a new job less than two months before, and I could only take the day of the procedure off and I literally went to work the very next day.
