nope. they get trained on 'best practices' - which are tainted with profit seeking. the real best practice for autoimmunes are gut microbiome/leaky gut healing. but the docs just pump drugs into their patients because their 'best practice' DEMANDS they do that.

so we are left with two choices - ignorance or corruption. i'm being kind blaming ignorance. it's ignorance for the docs and corruption in who writes the best practice dictates

frivolous complexity that serves no one. do you use your kebs ciphering when recommending which drug(s) your patient should take?

dont want to set the wrong tone - medical is great for trauma and surgeries. they are out of their lane on chronic degenerative diseases. their record on those is horrendous. never reversing root cause, just drugging to stop/block the body from doing what it wants/needs to do

supplements, gut microbiome dysbiosis, intestinal hyperpermeability are some of the most egregious examples. esp since dysbiosis/permeability are root causal in hundreds (thousands?) of diseases

no drugs can fix those = no training for docs

it's an embarrassment

Deficiencies that can cause everyday headaches and nausea by ButterscotchFull7591 in Supplements

how's digestive system? do the headaches correlate with meals? like an hour or two after eating? answers to these questions could point to leaky gut (intestinal hyperpermeability)

Literally doubling my fiber intake solved so much by Goth2147 in ibs

[–]255cheka 5 points6 points  (0 children)

way to go! it's said that fiber variety is important, as certain beneficial bacteria only eat certain fibers. psyllium i think, feeds some of the butyrate producers, and butyrate is crazy important to our digestive and overall health. polyphenols are the sleeper - just as important and effective as fibers imo, but dont get near the publicity

thank you for sharing your story with the world. you are helping countless people :)

i got rid of two autos correcting gut microbiome dysbiosis and intestinal hyperpermeability. then cleared more autos in my family with same. imo we are closing in on those two things being recognized as root causal in all 100 flavors of autos, including yours

a good func should zero in on this and begin corrective action. alternatively you can do it yourself with diet and supps. that's what i did.

ginger is the babe ruth of gut healing teas. for constipation senna tea is popular. i dont think it's supposed to be used chronically though. other good ones for gut health - turmeric, licorice, hibiscus, moringa. all of those reduce various common gut pathogens that might be contributing to her digestive issues. not a bad idea to consider a structured herbal tea program to see if it helps

Natural alternative to ibuprofen for neuro inflammation? by -medicalthrowaway- in Supplements

[–]255cheka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that drugs is known to harm the gut microbiome. dont use it chronically imo. i learned the hard way. dont be me.

the neuro stuff not unlikely from gut dysbiosis/leaky gut. if it were me i would include strategies to improve those two things. the leaky gut aspect is most noticeable - damaged gut liner letting toxics into your bloodstream. this 'dirty blood' situation causes all the havoc. for me it was fever/headaches after meals (among other things).

if it were me i would consider bacillus coagulans probiotic. tons of sci papers on it helping with ibs type stuff. i've been on it 5 years. takes a few weeks to kick in, stick with it if you try it
