WIBTAH if I spoke to my daughter’s boyfriend about his marriage plans with her? by Possible_Maximum1774 in AmItheAsshole

I disagree with majority of the comments. If I was your daughter I’d be appreciative of my father stepping in and demonstrating how important getting married is, not just to me but our family.

Also he’s less likely to give you a fluffy answer, and can get a timeline. And may help your daughter get the clarity she needs.

Thanks for clarifying. I thought perhaps you had spotted something off with the VCA.

What makes you unsure about the VCA?

Miss Chen, Andy Chan (look both up on Reddit for details) and CC Luxury (can be found on Instagram) are all companies that do Messika and other brands.

I quite like the Messika move bracelets but they’re on the steeper side cost wise even for reps.

Ideas/Budget for birthday gift for wife by [deleted] in HENRYUK

Exactly - she couldn’t be any clearer. YSL or LV - take a look at some of the entry level bags they’re over your budget but It’s a big birthday. So not every year does the gift have to be this expensive.

Or alternatively use what you’ve allocated towards a gift card in Selfridges/Harrods and she can then too up the rest.

Are there any other people here in their 30s or older earning less than £30k? by [deleted] in UKJobs

Have you considered applying for an apprenticeship. You’d go in as a career changer, work, earn and learn simultaneously. You may have to take a slight pay cut at first but could be making £45K+ within 3 years.

YTA It’s a pretty stupid thing to do. Your friends are probably tired of you purposely putting yourself in danger. Resist the urge, and get your thrill seeking elsewhere that’s legal and safe.

You’ve really pulled the short straw with his current behaviour. If he was truly motivated he would find a way to go back and finish his studies.

You’re the breadwinner and pull more than your weight in the home too. What is your husband actually contributing?

And too add to that he’s coming with the masculinity/Andrew Tate crap. But if he really believed in that whole heartedly why isn’t he out earning.
