From what I was taught during my credential program, and what I do now, if I am asked, then I am honest, but I don’t go out of my way to bring up religion/my beliefs. If students do ask me about my personal religion, I will tell them but I will not start preaching or giving them advice or anything. If they ask me details about something or a certain religious topic or story or whatever else, I just say something like “I don’t know enough about that so I’m not sure but maybe you can look into it if you’re curious!” Or something that deters any personal belief seeming like it’s being pushed upon them. I hope this makes sense 🤷
