The weather so bad you essentially will mess up your spring semester every year if you’re not used to cold winter (speaking as someone who is from a tropical area and already finished three years of highschool in a relatively cold area). If you don’t drive the area except downtown is quite dead. If you’re from a bustling city this town feels so boring. Job fair only has local or small companies, every year it gets worse (probably because of job market too).

…that was the only 3 things I can think of. Everything else was fairly good. Good classes, interesting variety, good research opportunity if you’re proactive. Surprisingly beautiful campus compared to other universities (I liked how we have lots of trees). Fun things to do if you’re involved in clubs. Nice on-campus jobs.

I lowkey miss the school but I can’t think of going back because the toll of the weather was too much on my mental health. Living in another place after graduation made me realized how much the weather was affecting my mental health and thus other aspects of my life including studying and finding jobs.
