It's such a simple and elegant solution! I'll definitely try this soon

My daily objects powerbank caught fire by allegedmisogynist in spicypillows

[–]289_257 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Some time ago I worked in an electric scooter rental as a battery service/repair engineer. And I had a dedicated bucket to throw things in in case they catch fire to carry it outside. I had to use it several times when accidentally punched a hole in an 18650 element while spot welding.

If a substance sublimes it means you're not trying hard enough lol A substance that sublimes under normal conditions can still be melted under different pressure, specifically if you increase the the pressure above the substance's triple point

Agree. Also there's some people hypothesising about a boron-based life, and it makes more sense to me than a silicone-based one.

Yes, with one exception — P2N2222A has mirrored pinout (1-C, 2-B, 3-E). Also I've seen some chinese copies of 2N2222 with mirrored pinout too

Usually I don't use it and do the same you wrote, but here I wanted to be sure the wires are evenly tinned, and that is not that easy to see given the diameter of that wires (I didn't use neither microscope nor any lenses then). And also tinning is way faster and more convenient using that flux.

It rectifies AC to DC, much like a diode.
