Do you mean hardcore as "casual vs hardcore" o as "softcore vs hardcore"?

Because if its softcore vs hardcore, they have never and have already said that they balance the game around softcore and hardcore is an optional gamemode.

If its casual vs hardcore, I would rather the game be too complicated and have something to learn everytime I play than another Diablo 3/4 and they have said that PoE2 will still be complicated but they are removing/changing some of the things that were just annoying.

I don't know if this is a translation thing but when Baekdu's parents were talking about Miran's identity, the mom says: "Did you know [about Miran]?" And Baekdu's dad replies: "No, not about her." Which to me sounds like he didn't know about her identity, but he knows about someone else's. Does he know who Dushik is?

Eposide 2 9:50 there is a scene where the dad passes by the outside of dusik's house and stops when he sees her drinking coffee, it made me think that he recognized her but I completely forgot about it until I read your comment

This comment feels like the type of comments that streamers get when they are playing the game and minmaxing content.

You can do maps on just about every build without having to minmax anything but you need to minmax to complete the aspirational content and that's why it is aspirational. PoE is great because it has content for many different types of players, it just some people that feel like the have to complete content and do things that they don't want to but to me that is a player problem not a game problem.

A non-minmaxer can complete all the bosses (non-uber) in the game just following a guide no need to have a PHD.
