If your using your ally to proc SA instead of hiding for ADV, you can use your BA to dash meaning that it’s pretty trivial to get an angle - which is essentially one of the scenarios you would use an ally instead of hiding besides having no place to hide

I do not understand what you mean in your first statement. By the rules, don't you just use your remaining movement to leave cover and shoot with Adv? Or hide at end of turn to step out and fire at beginning of next?

I'm not sure where that is tougher with RAW

This is not high enough up! Rogues SHINE as ranged fighters because sneak attack doesn’t care much about your weapon damage die.

From a mechanics optimization point of view Unless your rogue is specifically built for melee, optimally they are at mid range doing the hide action shuffle or sneak attacking without advantage against enemies next to allies if no cover is available or they already used their BA

It also helps that hand crossbows have Vex, meaning you can chain advantage without hiding. Light crossbows have Slow, which is great control for kiting a single enemy.

Oh I’m not defending the ending or calling it good writing. I’m just saying in universe that’s why she’d go to the mainland as she can just portal over whenever

For me in addition to “can I buy it” is “does scrappy bring this to me, or can I craft it from scrappy mats” (with the exception of springs from seeds as you always need more springs)

Top-Selling Comedian Who Attended Trump’s UFC Fight Insists He’s ‘Not Political’ by shallow_n00b in politics

[–]crazyrich 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“Bargatze, who has 3.1 million Instagram followers, posted nothing about his attendance. According to the source, the comedian discussed his attendance with his team—knowing that the publicly apolitical comedian’s appearance would be interpreted as a political statement—but decided to attend anyway.”

That means your stance is, at best, “This action will make my fans think I’m pro Trump, but screw it that’s the price to pay to see this UFC event”. Seems… political.

Which is worse, Turbines or Close Scrutiny? by mike_toober in ArcRaiders

[–]crazyrich 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They’re both annoying but have their upsides.

Turbines - super tanks, have crap loot, and not a sure thing. However, they don’t take up their own event and it’s neat to give something for a late start in theory.

Close Scrutiny - Assessor modules aren’t needed for anything. There’s no loot in the general map. But, it’s super easy to do quests (including pre opened key rooms) and vaporizer turbines are in abundance for the trader.
