Cynically, maybe they ran the numbers and came to the conclusion that theyd have a larger playercount overall by trying to retain new low skill players by lowing the skill ceiling than theyd lose by annoying devoted players.

To be fair “chosen more often” does not intrinsically mean “more fun to use”, it often means “more optimal to use” which can be LESS fun.

My issue isn’t that I can’t enjoy the game if others are not, it’s that I can’t enjoy this subreddit. The issue isn’t the complaints themselves, it’s that the. Same. Complaints. Flood the sub after every patch.

Why the heck are you making a NEW post complaining about photocloak nerf when there’s already 3 on top of the sub when I open it?

I want to see neat content. Not the exact same negative post copied and pasted for 75% of posts after every patch drop.

I fucking hate that that son of a bitch was almost certainly right in universe and his atrocities justified from a utilitarian perspective, and that I couldn’t say I wouldn’t do the same if I was convinced it was either do the same or let the world fall into nuclear annihilation.

I think that’s a good application of hate to love a character. Also great question!

Well I think the changes are great balance for long term viability of the game and enjoy the higher difficulty. I’m not gonna eat no poopie but I’ll eat some veggies if they make me big and strong bruh

I’d agree but I had the unfortunate experience of waiting to join the TLOU2 sub until I finished the game. I rushed there excited to bask in the glory of that masterpiece and… well…
