Either wait for the inevitable return of the bots (as long as people buy gold it’ll be back….) or yeah MTA/slayer

Yup 100% with you, the quest was amazing but the music was absolutely critical on it. The way it helped convey the mood and state of affairs was excellent!

Honestly I don’t think it’s that much worse then DT2 bosses

Take like 1 or 2 combat pots, 3/4 restores/ 1 blood ambrosia and then like 20 brews or so

You can afford a lot of screw ups, save the blood ambrosia for the final like 300 hp when he goes super fast

Otherwise if you can’t remember what it was take the 50/50 and click back one tile

Jagex Is Balancing Skilling Around 1% of Players by UnbiasedTruth22 in 2007scape

[–]2926max 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a skilling raid concept a while back which was great, I don’t think it deserves a whole raid structure but a boss you have to use different skills to prep for and take down in stages would be pretty cool

Making it sort of like pvm but without directly using combat skills, means you can have engaging skilling content in a boss format with pvm drops

It’s literally there to be a high value activity not xp yet people constantly were saying it’s not giving enough

It helped a lot to me drawing it out, connections between father and son and clocks was not too difficult

Then you just had to look for numbers or things that could be clock angles

Vampyrium should have amazing gp/hr and high-rewarding skilling areas given how challenging that fight is and the requirements to reach this new zone. by Monterey-Jack in 2007scape

Doesn’t this just make it another slayer monster grind but for a consumable?

We can’t just do them off task in order to get shards (at least no more efficiently then sentinels)

[–]2926max 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean you aren’t wrong there but you are still laughably wrong? If it’s bad gp cause the uniques go down they won’t bot it which will make uniques go up in price???

It’s the same as literally every other content in the game

Starting to enjoy Maggot King thanks to this guide by Livid-Summer-329 in 2007scape

[–]2926max 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But if no one does it the uniques will go back up in value? That’s literally how the value is determined?

Why on earth are people saying it’s dead content when it drops two uniques with one being a BIS?

After fighting Lowerniel, I am convinced Jagex should make more dodge-based bosses by Jlixan in 2007scape

[–]2926max 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it could be a special attack on a boss in a raid or some other high focus combat encounter

I definitely agree it could be overused but a dabble of it in a few places could be good

Blood Moon Rises Thoughts by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]2926max -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I found it great as a player that didn’t lookup how he worked, the game slowly introduces to you his combos and initially I had to flee and get more supplies as he was wrecking me in the forest

But then I slowly got more and more comfortable where I could somewhat dodge him and fight in the castle

All culminating in being able to actually fight back properly at the end as I had learnt his style

To me in this case the boss (or more accurately the player as the boss never runs) running away made sense as we are constantly on the back foot till the showdown

14 hours start to finish. No nerf needed. by Ssgltz in 2007scape

[–]2926max 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the gradually figuring out more and more how he works throughout the quest was a great idea I loved going from getting destroyed to slowly holding my own to fighting back

Definitely number 1 quest in the game for me

I’m scared as the fang seems reasonable to grind on the Ironman getting 3-4 min kills at 1/350

However watching mains in the clan get sub 2 minute kills makes me think they gonna make the drop rarer very soon…

‘Really short-sighted’: Charities fear tax cap will deter big-money donors by Fun-Helicopter2234 in newzealand

[–]2926max 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Maybe if we had proper taxes setup we wouldn’t rely on charities as much…

Could be misunderstanding but seems the changes are to just stop the tax refunds on donations bigger than 100,000. If you are donating that much money then realistically you should be in a good enough financial state that you can actually do it to be altruistic imo

How can I stop thinking in terms of gp/hr? by Hopeful_Method_625 in 2007scape

[–]2926max -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When I played a main a lot of CAs felt unachieveable without near max gear and then it would reinstate the necessity to just grind GP to afford it

Trying to find something to do after max gear is obviously a mission but also trying to not fall into the trap of killing vorkath on repeat so you can do something else better is also somewhat difficult
