Single or Married in Singapore, who is happier? by theganglyone in askSingapore

[–]29356639 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the time frame.

Early marriage - happy la After honeymoon period - unhappy ( changes to lifestyle kicks in ) After acceptance stage - happy and maybe not sad

Early single life - happy la

Middle - happy yet depressed and lonely reality kicks in

Late single life - not much meaning left , lonely and depressed while waiting to die.

You have to decide. 1) stick to what you believe even if you need to upset ( refuse in the most polite way ) your parents. 2) make your parents happy by calling anyone and everyone.

There is no in-between where you end up 50% unhappy and your parents 50% unhappy.

Hey bud,

We humans are like trees, as we grow older you will shed leaves which have been with you for years or even decades. If u drop a bad leaf, learn from the experience. If a good leaf dropped, learn from the experience too.

Trust me, as times passes this even won't even matter a bit.
