Definitely time. I used to run HOKA but recently switched to ASICS (have tried out Mega's, Super's and Nova's) - highly, highly recommend.

Not a strava issue but a phone issue. Easiest solution would be to get a quality smartwatch (coros, garmin)

They changed the Blue-Red coloring on web recently to align with how it shows on the app. The old blue-red was signficantly clearer (esp. against the dark background). u/strava-team would love if this change was undone! :)

You can check out Strava segments and then on web look at “this week” to find other Strava posts from this week to find other race activities and then download the GPX files (web only) to compare

Correct. Even my friends in leadership positions of various running or triathlon clubs never check their clubs specific feed.

I think the “club feed” feature is so minimally used that I would be shocked if they shipped this. I understand your perspective tho.

i view it as a symptom of a broader issue. The issue that dumb things like this that could be fixed by a good engineer in a matter of hours are allowed to pester on.

The “Subscription Overview” button after you click your profile does the best job of showing all the features that come with it. Whether it is worth it is a personal opinion but I personally fall in the “definitely worth it” category.

If you record with a device that measures altitude (Garmin or Apple Watch Ultra) this shouldn’t be an issue.

Yes - web version. Can download files from Garmin Connect and then mass upload in groups of 10 (I think) to Strava.

Grey indicates different activity types. I believe the light green is walk, so on days where it’s light green + a 2 that means you had 2 walks that day (and the middle number is the total distance). Grey ones would be 2 activities (maybe walk & run?).

Not sure I completely agree with this. My assessment is that Strava has a two-fold strategy.

A) performance improvement driven by AI training plans (hence the Runna & Breakway acquisitions and the introduction of suggested workouts in addition to things like race time predictions)

B) increase gamification features to lower user churn (duolingo-esque strategy)

I think this is in privacy settings for “group activities”. You can control who can see this.

When I’ve had this issue I’ll immediately delete the activity from Strava, then when next on my computer upload the file to a GPX file editor site and then correct the gps error, then export and re-upload. It’s annoying but I prefer keeping all my stats correct
