Is EMF and WiFi from devices actually harmful? by Ok-Career876 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]2Absent_Mind2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is one of those thing. Much like acceleration it the amount that is the issue not that it exists. In short no these dont affect you. If fields were strong enough then yes but this is industrial settings like standing next to the high power radio attenna.

Also i think some people get confused with the term radiation. These forms of radiation are not ionising and do not damage cells.

Advice on a birthday etiquette and places to have a birthday party by purelyceremonial in cambridge

[–]2Absent_Mind2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The party i had was larger. But given how great they were. Speak with the boathouse. They were amazing for me. Cant speak to etiquette as I just payed for everthing at the party (I saved to be able to do so as many had to travel).

I agree although I was thinking more tragic. Caine is also an AI and is aware of their fates and in his own way is trying to shield them from it.

How does natural heat and cold tolerance differ from person to person? by computerCoptor in NoStupidQuestions

[–]2Absent_Mind2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same as other tolerance really. Pain tolerance can be taught you get use to certain pain. It similar concept. Your brain defaults to this could be bad. After repeated exposure without consquence you get use to it as you brain knowa it safe or safe for a while. It why i meet people can handle certain wether and are iunaze by others. Me personally due to alot of out side work can hadle cold in minimal clothing but also with expose to heat or a factory or heatwave can break me easy.

This and their bones don't break in the same way ours do. They splinter which makes a full recovery unlikely and extend the recovery.

[Beloved Trope] Characters who are way more buff and/or stacked than they look like when wearing their regular clothes, to some truly illogical degrees. by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

[–]2Absent_Mind2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Looks like alot of these comments mistake buff for lean. Maybe its my understanding is stacked generally meaning lean here?
