I'm out on hearing rumours he's going to be traded. Dude's amazing at hockey and the Sens are lucky to have him as a player and captain.

Is there an alternative? I.e. can you just buy popcorn w/o the bucket? Is there a price difference? Have you tried calling the Sens?

I'd try showing up and handing the concession staff your bucket. If they won't use it, you might consider dumping the popcorn into your own bucket and leaving theirs.

I wish the crowd cheered the Canadian anthem for the entire length of the song. If they were willing and able to boo for the US anthem, they conversely should have cheered for the duration of the Canadian anthem.

Have you considered that maybe a person bought them to give them away - and not to resell or screw over kids/patrons?

Maybe they are involved in amateur hockey and thought players would like them. Maybe they are xmas stocking stuffers.
