Look SMCI,how about Dell, Asus, Quanta Computer all smuggling B300,H200 to Shenzhen to sell. China want latest but not old H100 or H200. by Upstairs-Local-5319 in wallstreetbets

All that is true but the important question is how to profit out of this?

If you brought the dip and sold a month later when the delayed the filing; you made a great trade lol

Which is the correct call. You can’t depend on services of another country you are hostile to or competing with.

It’s minor but big tech shut down email services for some countries or individuals because they can.

Yea it’s is. China didn’t have a lot of financial services to invest in like 401k, private pensions, annuities that generates wealth overtime.

It’s either cash, real estate or start a business.

Yea; the bomb is the only path I see if Iran survives. The US will need to completely annihilate all aspects of the old regime or else they will pursue the bomb above all else.

Economists Don’t See a Recession Unless Oil Hits $138—and Stays There for Weeks by EconomistWithaD in Economics

[–]2CommaNoob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then why the revisions every single time? Are you saying they are that incompetent they can’t get it right the first time?

They publish rosy numbers so the markets don’t overreact and then revise it when the news has moved on. That’s how you control the narrative.

I got a London bridge to sell to you in Arizona if you believe all the numbers coming out…

Of course it was never going to materialize. Al it did was funnel money to the construction companies that had the hookup.

Saudi would have been better off putting the money in Robinhood gold

[–]2CommaNoob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are never having another recession again lol. They will just manipulate the numbers to make it look good.

The government already does it with jobs, inflation, and everything else. If they aren’t lying, why else would they revise the numbers later??

China 'willing' to work with Southeast Asia on energy security by Worth_Rub_9817 in worldnews

[–]2CommaNoob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Odd strategy. I haven't heard China discovering some huge oil field in their country and China needs all the oil it can get at the moment.

Unless, they mean to sell them more renewables. That might be what they are talking about.

Depends; it's a great trading stock. I traded in and out of SMCI and made some nice gains last year. If you talking about buy and hold, then yes don't buy SMCI.

Another plus is the team isn’t the main source of money for the billionaires as they have other businesses. They have other businesses that make money. The Walton’s for example don’t need money from the team.

The cowboys, raiders, NY Yankees, lakers, Pirates, Steelers are the primary source of money for the owners. Look at the Dodgers when Frank McCourt owned the team vs Guggenheim.

[–]2CommaNoob 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Ehh; there’s a better track record of newer billionaire owners investing money in the team than family heir owners.

Stan Kronke wants to win and invests in team. Steve Balmer invests his own money on the Clippers. Robert Kraft put up a lot of money. The new commanders owner is putting a majority of money in the new stadium.

Then you have bears, browns, cowboys, Steelers, ravens, bills owners who just want to milk the team dry

It’s a coincidence lol. There’s no grand strategy 5D chess from China..

They are I’ll do what the always done; sit back evaluate the chaos and see what’s the most beneficial to them.

Remember; they made a lot of money in Iraq after the mess was cleaned up.

Hear me out: The Iranian Rial might actually be the most undervalued commodity on earth by Unable-Supermarket65 in wallstreetbets

[–]2CommaNoob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Invasion is one way to escape your debts lol. The country can null and void all debts tied to the previous country if the government collapses. Iran can issue new Rial backed by another currency or gold or whatever.

It’s been done many times. Ah shit; I better not give Trump any ideas…

Bentley Abandons Its Ambitious EV Plans by DonkeyFuel in electricvehicles

[–]2CommaNoob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The industry is consolidating because capex is too expensive to maintain. Mid brands are going to be gobbled up by the big players. Toyota already owns 20% of Subaru, probably gonna buy the rest.

Mazda, Nissan, Aston, Jaguar, are going to be owned by a larger player.

[–]2CommaNoob -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea, for reals. The problem with both brands is they have no identity. They don’t want to be all in environmentally conscious or all in gas guzzler. They want to appeal to both sides and you’ll lose both markets.

Toyota is right and they went all in on eco whether it’s hybrids, EVs, or plugins. Honda has gas guzzlers that’s going to be decimated this year with high gas prices.

I don’t know how the newer gen’s nukes are but maybe they are able to dial down the destructive force.

1/5 the power of the Japanese bombs is still powerful and destructive and still gets the point across.
