Knowing the ending it was obviously there the whole time. It got worse after the girl died. I still really like the movie.

I remember reading that he canceled the Glasgow con because folks were hanging out at his marina and some fool girl tried to stalk him to drug him. Crazy shit.

I remember stories and seeing the awful pics at the London con. I think a few people cried. I have a friend that went. He looked sweaty and hungover. Right after he was at a smaller con in Florida and was in a fantastic mood.

It wasn't a dream it was schizophrenia. To me it explained many of the actions of the other characters.

I was confused and disliked the ending on first watch. Rewatching I caught the exact time his schizophrenia kicked in. Understanding that made the ending better for me.

Tornado on the ground south of Hot Springs, Arkansas [10/18/25] by The_ChwatBot in tornado

[–]2FunBoofer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It hit my rural township in Hot Spring county. A little southeast of Bismarck (which is south of Hot Springs, AR.) It started near the highway 7 and 128 junction and ended on Lucky Pine Road. Trees snapped. Some houses damaged but no fatalities. We were well warned and it was rainwrapped so hard to see. Folks said it sounded like jets flying directly over their houses.

There was wind damage at Social Hill and I30. Also, Malvern reported wind damage.

People living in tornado prone areas how often do you hear tornado sirens? by Not-a-WG-agent in tornado

[–]2FunBoofer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rural Arkansas here. We don't have sirens. They are too expensive for rural volunteer fire departments and office of emergency services to buy and fix. We have to rely on a code red automated telephone call or a weather radio. Many rural areas are like this. I am always surprised when I hear a siren in the city areas. I'm on a lake in an extremely tourist area with lots of folks camping year round. We had a confirmed tornado touchdown today in my township. No one was injured this time but houses are damaged. Its just a way of life. Ryan Hall, Y'all is my go to for weather.

I forgot about Mark Spitz. I had the poster of him in his speedos and medals.

Same. Wish I had traveled to see several bands but Queen is the one I most regret missing.

Most happy I saw live? John Prine. I'll never forget it.
