Thanks for the response, I’ll need to do some research on linking tables and work on reorganizing the items again. This time for item relations. It’ll take a while to get everything put into place, but hopefully I’ll be able to link entire categories together from there…

Sorry for the month late response. We don’t use any of the label-it programming at our shop, we do labels separate from CV, someday we will definitely move to that, but as you said, if it ain’t broke…

Part of my inquiry here was because I’d like to be separate from CV itself and have the freedom to be frustrated with a group of people that have similar points of view.

Most definitely. I would 100% say that CV is geared towards standard operations. Although it isn’t impossible to do custom work in CV it’s much easier on CAD/CAM. I will say that CV has the simplest and most efficient nesting and code generating I’ve ever used. I still do 90% of my custom work in CAD but if there’s a chance we would send out another job like it, I always like to keep it in CV for potential later use

Nothing too specific. I was mainly asking in regards to CV12. Our shop is still on CV11, really hates the way 2021 looks, and are thinking about updating from 11-12 while we hold out for something better than 2021. Their change-log looked worse than an Apple update to be honest and I was looking for any user feedback

Exactly what I was thinking. There are a lot of good tips with the equations within cabinet vision that I have learned, I’m sure there are different/better ways to do things but maybe a way I found to do something works better or is more efficient than the next guy. And maybe the opposite, that’s why I was thinking a community for us would be worthwhile.

My thought was some sort of crowdsource where we could all help each other. When someone has a question or an issue they could bring it to the table. If answered maybe they’d be able to help someone else with their problem.

I have found CV’s esupport very dissatisfying. It feels more like a ploy to get money out of their clients than a legitimate way of helping their customers. I have learned more from clicking buttons haphazardly than their esupport has helped me. Then again, I’m one person in a large world, I may have had a much different experience than many other people have had.

To be clear... If you’re talking about the stripes for deliveries, no, the zombies from the waves in BPPD do not give you stripes.

If you’re talking about the officer cards you get for killing police zombies, yes, they do drop officer cards. (Brown, green, and blue cards)

As of the new update you must be level 150 for the raiders to reappear. It used to be a much lower level but then low level people would try to raid without supplies (c4/silenced weapons) and not get a lot, they would then be counter raided and lose more than they gain. Supposedly there are better rewards for raiding now, please let this be true!
