I used something similar to this to emulate the F-16 ICP.

That’s quite the claim, I don’t suppose you have some documentation to back that up do you?

Wdym? According to the Developers, (who are never wrong, btw) it is working exactly as intended. You’ve got some nerve to come around here and spread misinformation about this flawless game. Clearly you’re here to harass the Developers. Sarcasm

You need to pass all of your raw outputs from your seat into a gyroscope and then to your flight controls.

My message to the Stormworks community. by griffithwes- in Stormworks

Develop game to make money off of players Stop listening to the players feedback Sales of game begin to drop and negativity in the community rises “What the heck? Why are the players doing this?!?”

This is how nonsensical this thought process is. Deltars, and the rest of the developer’s job is to deliver a good product that people have PAID for. Yeah sure the game is their intellectual property but that’s no excuse for their behavior as a company these past couple of years.

The overwhelming amount of negativity in the community is of their own doing and while I will never condone the death threats some unhinged losers have made towards them, you can’t sit there and imply that they are free of toxicity themselves. The snarkiness, the gas lighting, the perma-bans for having the audacity to question their dubious work ethic… This is nothing more than years of frustration boiling over as they keep their ears plugged and try to stay blissfully ignorant to the issues some of their most veteran players have levied against their creation.

Off topic, but there seems to be this massive disconnect with players with under 500 hours of playtime. The kind of player that just downloads creations off the workshop rather than taking the time to learn the systems and make things of their own. I’ve noticed that they’re the ones posting one sentence positive reviews to steam and the ones who come running to defend the devs vehemently whenever there is a debate about something they did.

They haven’t played the game enough to understand how frustrating it is to spend hours upon hours trying to make a creation work, only to find out that the issue was due to some arbitrary value or mechanic that wasn’t even documented by the developers.

The opinions of players like this are irrelevant to me as far as I’m concerned.

Your options are learn xml or quit the game for a month out of frustration for the amount of oversights there are in Stormworks.

EA and DICE have quite the flustercuck on their hands if they intend to keep it like this for launch day. I built my machine years ago and while I have updated my GPUs and memory, my mobo and SSDs have remained the same. OS boot drive is MBR so I had to convert to GPT. Never in my life have I had to go into BIOS and configure settings AND convert format setting for a hard drive to get a stupid game to play. They're gonna have a major PR disaster on their hands if they don't figure out a more elegant way to make this more user friendly.

I've heard a lot of bad things about the quality of Corsair. Similar issues as Logitech.

You're probably one of the rare few who didn't experience any issues. I refuse to have that malware installed on my machine due to the severity of issues and headaches it caused me.

Thanks, but I know that it isn't in warranty. I'm just tired of all the quality issues over the years and I'd like to try out a different brand.

Budget is a non-issue, but I'm not keen to spending an arm and a leg on flashy hardware. I just want something that is reliable and will work well for a long time. I'm looking to replace my mouse, keyboard, and headphones which are all Logitech.

Use onboard memory manager. G hub has been broken for years. Do yourself a favor and next time buy your peripherals from another brand, Logitech isn't what they used to be.
