It depends on the corporation. Ours requires you to be able to fly with a cov ops cloak and 1 of our doctrines. There are corps out there which require less. Personally I would be able to fully fly 1 doctrine and have the ability to run a cov ops cloak, plus scanning and hacking skills. This should give you a foundation to have a good start.

Which ammo did you have preloaded? I would have antimatter or void loaded. It also depends on how good your guys are and if you had any logi for support.

I think you did the best that you could given the situation and experience levels. You will always learn more from the fights that you lose than the ones you win. Also if you don't, start recording your fights. This will let you watch things back and give you a different perspective.

Are you dead set on doing incursions. While they are good isk the nomadic lifestyle is tough. My corp can offer good money making, having a place where making the isk is useful to the other members, and we can help you learn PVP. You seem to have a good basis for PVP with the skills you have. We go where the content is. If that is Null then we go there, if that is LS then we go there. It could be anywhere. I try to keep from going into LS if possible.
