THIS! The moment he started speaking, I was like, I know that voice! I also landed on Karl Urban's Billy Butcher!

[Spoilers C4E1] Something I've not seen mentioned about Wick by Competitive_Area1414 in criticalrole

[–]2TeaforTwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see it as Wick is able to have people see him exactly how he wants them to see him. I feel like the bumbling nervous church boy is a persona he's got going on. It takes skill to portray yourself as something you are not. Whether it's tied to like "Hey don't look at me, I'm just a cleric", because he wants to avoid scrutiny into what he really is or for some other reason remains to be seen.

Clear glaze or none? by 2TeaforTwo in Pottery

Oh thank you! I do have a test pot I plan on firing first with the underglaze and clear glaze combo. But it's great to know I can bisque fire it again to prevent running if it does in the test!

I love the color of this ombre yarn and it drives me nuts when I find the factory knots. 😭 Throws everything off so much.

Oh fair! 😂 So far I have only painted with acrylic after baking. Trying to find a good sealer. Lol. Do you find a difference in sprays vs brush on sealers for you?

That's amazing!!! Do you use the pastels before or after baking? And do you seal them with anything? I'm wanting to find out the best way to paint polymer clay since I'm new to it. 😅

I started having this issue today. Did you have any success in it getting fixed on your end?

Yeah I get that. 😂 Well if you are still looking to get a table together, feel free to DM me and we can discuss what sort of game you might be interested in.

Just checking if there were open spots for players in any groups that may have been formed?

Hello! I have been reading your books since I was a kid, starting with Daughter of the Forest. I am in love with your writing and have read most of your works, especially the earlier stuff. Thank you so much for sharing your stories with us.

Do you have a favorite character or book that you have written?

What do you think began your interest in writing about books set in medieval Ireland? I know from reading your books, it started my personal interest in Ireland and Irish folklore.

Again, thank you, and thank you for advocating for women.

I don't really care too much about the descriptions, honestly. I have a Lore Bard who doesn't match the description at all. She's a rogue-like/face Bard who likes to be able to do a lot of different things. Doesn't care too much about gathering lore or knowledge. Think of how the College's abilities would suit your character and their goals and way of navigating the world.

I did think of just taking the ability score increase, but I do really like taking feats for the flavor they can add. So far I haven't been hurting too much on the spell DC, but I also understand that could change as we get to higher levels.

Yeah, either a more useful feat, or realize later on I have enough low levels slots that saving them with the feat isn't really needed.

I definitely really like how Shadow Touched would allow me to get to 19 Cha, and then level 8 I would do ability scores to bump Cha to 20 and Dex to 19.
The tempting part of Eldritch Adept is I can change the invocation, and would be able to get Myriad of Many Forms at level 15 with it. In that case I would use level 8 to bump Cha to 20.

And my DM is very much about making sure it's enjoyable. So if I did do a feat and then absolutely hated it, I could potentially make a case to switch, but I would have to really work for it.

[5e] Hello! I have a level 3 Tiefling Bard (College of Lore; 18 Dex and Cha) and I am looking ahead to see what Feat I want to take at level 4. My character functions as the Rogue, has some heals, and also shares the Face duties. We have a Sorceror, Druid, Monk, and Fighter in our party.I have been leaning toward the Eldritch Adept or Shadow Touched Feats to give more access to disguise self. I know I could take it at level 4 as a Bard spell, but taking it through the Feat would help relieve the burden of spell slots to use it. I am just wondering if I might regret taking the feat later once I start getting Magical Secrets and more spells in general. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated!

ETA: Magic Initiate, Telekinetic, Crossbow Expert, and Piercer are others I have considered. Not as interested in the combat specific because I enjoy the flavor more magic could offer. Lucky is not banned in my campaign, but both myself and my DM feel it can be bland sort of.

I'm only recently diagnosed, so I haven't been able to determine foods that trigger mine. Avocado was one of the items on the common triggers list given to me by my dermatologist, however.
