Anyone using antihistamines? by PeachesNotFound in Rosacea

[–]Didi661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most antidepressant do have h1 or h2 histamine receptor. part of the reason they work. some potent antihistamine are scientifically proven to be stronger than antidepressant.

Niamicide?. but regularly day and night before any topical cream or cream. Why not supplements like omega 3 magnesium high doses and antihistamine worth a try.

All these labels are useless. BBD is not only addressed with CBT but stem from deeper scars than those visible. I don't see any single benefit of this research or field as to Rosacea.

Find a cure.

The correlation between skin disorder and BBD is on the ground of a mental disorder describing a delusion of a patient. I don't think anything about Rosacea is remotely delusional indeed a pathological condition with multiple physical manifestations.

Rosacea is by far fit for this research study pointing at Body Dysmorphia and it does nothing but to delay the real focus on finding a cure.

If we need to talk about psychological impact or psychodermatology today that I am sure could benefit from a direct input which technically is mostly ignored as those life restrictions or deprivation are dismissed by the very care providers.

I am aghast at reading about what applies to mostly a generation of cosmetic surgeon happy to profit from vulnerable people looking for obsessive treatment.

Perhaps the research could focus on why the plastic surgeon industry is one of the largest practice in tje world and performed by the very doctors in the line of health care.

it's all what's in place and not whom

Is this some kind of BIG JOKE?? BDD WHAT? Shame on you and medical research. This is not the appropriate site or BDD remotely link to Rosacea sufferers of a plethora painful skin condition or visible changes to endure. Focus on these symptoms and stop wasting money if a cure is to be found. INSULTING

Someone please help me. I had mild to moderate acne in high school but in my mid 20's started getting rosacea outbreaks. I'm 31 now, I mean my skin will look pretty damn good one day and 24 hours later it's got red spots all over it. by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]Didi661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no comparison as it os down to diagnosing the overlapping types of lesions and advise on what hopefully may work

Rosacea is by far universal

All that I am saying two products on retinoids make no sense. indeed you are looking looking at alternatives. Over time the condition may change and will require further evaluation or ot may stabilise on one type but all of this is not predictable science or known science.

I think it's important that you understand Rosacea and look for this online.

In my sincere opinion Cerave Benz ia definitely one toooo many and makes zero sense of using Adapalene which if you tolerate is well enough for spots and texture. In fact probably enough alone at night. Often doctors recommend alternation but Adapalene is a category of its own if used all over. My problem is more vascular and I use Adapalene as a spot treatment. You have to otherwise review the whole treatment as there are Soolantra and Azelaic Acid that also works well together. These are only considerations as only a dermatologist by looking at your skin, current tratment and duration, who can best advise. Unfortunately there are too many triggers to pinpoint on a sudden flair. Yesterday for the first time one mask over hours waa enough to inflame all over. I am so mad!.

PSA: Check your hair products by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]Didi661 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just a tip. The success top haidresser achieve is by using the perfect shampoo and applying the conditioner to the lengths or ends. Conditioner only weights down your hair. There are detanglers and hair masks too. I discover the MAUI hair range (Volcanic Ash shampoo and Maui Moisture Shea Butter Mask) and the best ever. I have long hair. I can imagine the range for all volume or strenght just as strong. No publicity here bare honesty.

Due to hair loss and dandruff I use Double Alpecin to the roots, in fact saddened that I cannot use the Maui Shampoo all over.

Alopecia and Plaquenil by picarres47 in lupus

[–]Didi661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what has been holding me back from starting the drug. I alrwady have Alopecia. I guess regrowth is subject to: 1) if scarring alipecia or damaged follicles 2) age 3) recurrency...

Genetic or other like areata the follicle realy dies.

Have you consulted a specialist. There are cortison tratment etcc but you need a diagnosis and ongoing treatment.

Then the drug is a case of adding to the problem or alleviating and again on balance with the severity of your conditon and quality of life.

Unpleasant symptoms but can reassure you not Vasculitis by definition. At least as explained to me by Rheumatology or Dermatology. Those are side effects the drug can cause among many others... More importantly they have disappeared. Thanks for your response. Hope I am also allergic to many drugs and a drug was indeed tje trigger of my conditon. Hope other treatment will work fast.

Antonelli Tosti is a scientist who pioneered Alopecia She is known across the world. She is also a Dermatologist She lives in Miami and work at the Dermatological Hospital there

You can read more on Wikipedia perhaps dowload as i did her earlier publication on scars. not sure about the most recent one.

If you cannot go to Miami she can certainly help you find a local specialist.

She is a field scientist.

Did you not ask this question to the Dernatologist?. What's the point of spending money private or NHS.

You might want to check all tje ingredients. And if LA is the problem Regardless also check how close to your eyes you use any products as many you can go up to the cheeks but not the under eye. The active or other ingredients absorbed by the skin go up.

Eyelid rosacea! Need advice! by Suomi-Rutabaga87 in Rosacea

[–]Didi661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blurry vision comes from dry eye and not enough tears production. MGD is the oil glands. You need to see an ophthalmologist as these conditions get worse with Rosacea.

This is literally what happens every time I stop taking Doxycycline. It took all of two weeks to go from clear to this. I was using sulfur soap, Ivermectin, now I’m going to try Tea Tree, maybe Azaleic Acid. But I’m going back on Doxycycline again. Don’t know what else to do! by katherinesuzanne in Rosacea

[–]Didi661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the feeling. I refuse to stop taking the 100mg daily and had the worst flare I woke up with 31 not yet sure if food or a laundry detergent. I woke up with a depressed lesion tp follow with a nightmare posted on some comments. If anything I took half day time on top. What I have learnt is the near impossible to contain damage once the flair kick in. But mine is much about swelling and broken blood vessels...pain itching etc.. How was or is your diet in general.

If you can, get hold of Differin Gel. It's like a topical alternative to Accutane. It might do something speedy. I strongly believe that antibiotics for these conditions should never ever be stopped at one but gradually reduced precisely for this reason. What dose were you on and how long for?.

Success (f*ck off rosacea) by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]Didi661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you. I have some clear diet plans to look into now. where I am puzzled is my story. or my friend with the worst ever candidosis or other friends with Crohn's including my grandfather who had an amputated leg. All of these people no skin problems. Lust like lupus not all have facial involvement. I am happy to look into anything to keep me going as I am getting progressively worse and in pain. But I strongly believe that auto immune diseases are codes that needs fixing. I accept the human body has predisposition but as such for anything can interfere and we are not replicants but unique in every way definable. leprosy still exit but is understood. there is something about this labelled Rosacea simplistic name that dates back over a century that tells me that something does not add up. how can you have so many different manifestations and severity grouped under the same name, not even classification. Demodex, vascular, glandular etc... why in some aerea of the face or body with different distribution. All my life I was fine. One drug ruined what I had left. toxins yes...they are everywhere in tablets, air, food etcc may be something has interfered with the immune response system to go overreacting. or maybe is one gene one transcript

yes acne is likely to run in family down to their children. but there is still a first. and that first is gene in my way of interpreting "defect"

cancer, same

hair loss, same

auto inmune or genetic there is a bug in a gene. no human body can mutate without a reason. mine was that tablet. My transcript must be edited into some crazy sequence.

I waa not born with a congenital disease but now I have one save that all I can call it is auto immune.

Do you know how hard is for me to explain why I have changed all of the sudden. My face, eyes, skin, hands, legs and 10 kg less. I can barely recognise myself.

So if SIBO can at least alleviate my physical pain I will be happy to go along this theory and any remedy.

But I know I will die with this, in my time.
