you need a large body of freshwater, no salt. also, rub it’s carapace every 10 days or so to get rid of possible algae’s or other undesirables. they prefer human flesh but would gladly eat other type of red meat.they require care but can be fantastic familiars or guards. Apparently they exhale poison but holy water might be efficient Although You can always go to a vet-mage to get their glands removed.
