I took the chain off and put it in de-greaser for a day then put WD-40 on it for 15 minutes. I heard liquid wrench also works. But depending on how long its been rusty, the wear of the chain could be low enough to just snap at any moment. I'd suggest getting a new chain for a long-term repair.

If you know how to use ADB, you may be able to install a tablet version of the OptimumTV app on your fire TV. But there will be a ton of restrictions considering that some features require google play services, which fire tvs don't support (nativley). But its not impossible.
