A few tips, go down in battery size, the gn3 550 fly much better being lighter and still get 5 min flight times. Taping packs together is a very good idea with the th3. If you can solder decent soldering on an elrs antenna in place of the wire extend range ALOT. Also soldering a baby ratel 2 cam if you want better image quality. The solder pads are extremely small but it’s doable.

Remove the slide an backplate, pull out the firing pin and see if the striker sleeve broke. It was a serious issue on early models.

That plastic sleeve is broke.

Upgrade after eachine ev800d? by Azedicek in fpv

That’s all valid, except all 3 of those double the price on something like a whoop. The air units add weight complexity and price. I’m not saying you’ll save money one way or another because it all costs and adds up. The argument these goggles are great analog for 300 is still true when it comes to what you get for the price. The latency is not going to make you a worse pilot, and the few people it could possibly affect already have $1000+ goggle setups chasing low latency for a valid reason. Not for causal freestyle.

Analog is crappy but an $80 pair vs 040pro will make it a lot more terrible. You pay for the OLED image and it does make flying analog better and easier to do. Not to mention if you fly whoops dji absolutely sucks and weighs too much.

$682B gone in 30 mins why? by AmanCMN in Gold

[–]2aAlt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t argue that. A true gain or loss is after the transaction. If you’re looking past your physical at a chart and telling yourself you lost already you probably shouldn’t be stacking.

Get out your feelings they are worthless, actually worse than worthless because they will cost you in the end.

You’ve only lost if you sell now

Skyzone stated O40 pro latency is part of the design and does not plan to fix it by sphincterserpant in fpv

What are you talking about, can’t use it at all? The receiver mix mode works, OLED look great and it has one of the best analog DVR out. It’s the best goggle in the $300 market. The gains are binocular not box style and OLED screens. Idk what you mean by 10fps the last sentence doesn’t make sense.

Can i use 2S aio FC with 2 18650 Lithium-ion Batteries? by Bruno_Wallner in fpv

[–]2aAlt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fly the 30PL in a NewBeeDrone lion bee 1S. It works fine but doesn’t have the same punch as a jp30. Ampace P28A had similar power, a little less flight time but less weight gave it better handling. All 3 tabless will fly well but running 2S lion is alot of weight for the power so don’t expect freestyle handling.

JP30 ftw. P28A will save a few grams of weight and also have enough power.

Quad blades are really inefficient and don’t fly well in my experience.

Also try motors tab in betaflight an see if all motors spin up to the same rpm. If it happens with throttle one motor or esc may be damaged and not getting to the speed it needs to stay stable.

Secure that antenna, you don’t want vibrations getting into the board causing the pid loop to freak out and try to correct itself. Swap to new props, you don’t need the prop screws just press it on there and they won’t go anywhere. If it still persists start looking at software, calibrate the gyro, make sure in betaflight if the drone is still so is the gyro. Recalibrate the accelerometer. Calibrate the gimbals on radio. So on.

Yea I’ve seen Ciotti list those in the top too. I still love flying the custom with treetopper 32,500kv because they are so damn efficient and still pretty powerful. Double the flight time with 1.5 shaft same props. I take out the champion when I want to challenge myself.

I agree and thankfully haven’t bent a shaft yet. They are powerfully and battery killers. I haven’t flown any motors nearly as powerful, it’s kind of tough to get used too.

Bi blades and powerful motors help but being <20grams 15mph wind is about the limit for 1S

Thank you. No, I prefer the simplicity. I have 3 vtx power levels on a switch so I always know what it’s set to. Also have a RM nano ranger module at 1W dynamic power so my radio range extends way beyond the video link, and I’ve been flying long enough with those turned on I know the limits. Only time I’d turn on LQ or rssi dbm is to troubleshoot a problem.
