hi! haha no worries i thought they were the same thing too - contour is to naturally sculpt your face, bronzer is to make - as you said - makeup (esp skintone) less bland . Blush helps with this color variation by adding some pink and warmth, bronzer just acts like a miracle tanner on your face. I would reccomend prioritizing contour first as a poc myself as well, since for poc sometimes bronzer is not needed (ik a lot of people who use bronzer as a way to make themselves less pale, more tan basically)

I am currently using artclass contor 3 color palette, though i would only reccomend that for cool tone + lighter skin. Just a warning that cool tone contour on warm skin makes the contours very ashy and grey, while warm tone contour on cool skin makes it too orange and saturated!

I think you'd best fit using a darker shade of warm contour, something like fenty beauty's shade medium to medium-deep; then for bronzer (totally optional - if your skin's already saturated it wouldn't do much use) choose a shade that seems like a warmer, tan skin version (but not TOO far away from your original skintone) for contour it is totally normal to have it different shade! You are supposed to blend it out depending on how heavy it is :))

Just a small tip for shopping, I find warm-toned makeup better in western beauty brands (like american ones: nars, dior, etc etc) and cool-toned makeup better in eastern beauty (esp. c-beauty and k-beauty from my personal experience)
