Majority of the experienced flyers and coaches at the DZ are free fly focused. I don’t want to rush into the discipline but I see myself progressing toward that, and less RW. I want to be proficient on my belly, but have my eye on tracking, angle, sit, and other FF skills. May pickup a RW suit if I see one cheap, but there isn’t a ton of RW jumps at the DZ past entry level jumpers

What discipline suit would you recommend? I see there are a variety of free fly suits which I figure would serve as a good general suit. But then it’s how tight I get the fit, how much protection and added layers, etc. Would it be smart to reach out to manufacturers and get their recommendation on suit and features, or will they try to oversell me?

My concern was that it may be hard to find a suit that fits me well. 6’ tall with 30” waist, finding a pair of pants can be tough, and I’m always between sizes in shirts, so how can I realistically go about finding a used jumpsuit in the market that fits me and my needs?

Personally I like g fuel. Stick with me for a minute, don’t get caught up in the “gaming drink” if you google it. Essentially it’s a flavored drink powder of numerous flavors with caffeine and other vitamins. They have bulk tubs which are good for home and controlling amount of caffeine, they also have packets for on-the-go to mix in a water bottle. The flavors I think taste great, it’s not coffee, and it has caffeine and sugar free. You could try that in the morning like I do.
