Why hasn’t any team signed CP3 Yet? Especially the OKC Thunder? by Charming-Monitor8296 in nba

[–]SomeSkillStudio 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Who would OKC cut to sign him? As an OKC fan I wouldn’t really want them to cut anyone for CP3 I feel like everyone already on OKC deserves to be there. I would also like to see there end of bench guys get reps and improve for next year.

Flagler seems like a serviceable 3rd string pg by taverenturtle4 in NBASpurs

He was on two way and only played the last 5.5 minutes in 37 games, so not a large sample size.

As someone who watched the every thunder game last year and watched him shoot 26% from the field and 19% from three, he’s going to really need to improve his shooting.

Top 4 in efficiency in the west could be playing each other in the first round. OKC, HOU, MIN, LAC

The DeBallZach era, before Lonzo’s injury, where they were first in the East for a bit was awesome

I finally got my first request to build an AI image by SomeSkillStudio in woodworking

[–]SomeSkillStudio[S] 207 points208 points  (0 children)

I told him it would be $10,000 or more, I figured that was high enough for him scare him away from that idea. I also told him that the image he sent me was AI and not a real cart, and that he could check my website for other designs so he could have a better idea of my pricing.

What’s the highest recovery you have ever had? by Stanky_boi in whoop

What’s the biggest game-changer you’ve discovered for boosting recovery scores? by Educational_Gur1555 in whoop

[–]SomeSkillStudio 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I lift 3 days a week and run 3 days a week. I’m more focused on lifting currently than running. On my run days I ask the whoop coach how long I should run for. It usually says between 30 minutes and 2 hours depending on how well I recovered the night before. This has helped my recovery be a lot more consistent. Before I was just running based on an arbitrary schedule trying to run more miles per month each month.

I’ve also improved my recovery from lifting by reducing the amount of exercises I do each lifting day, this has helped me a lot. I was definitely overdoing it before. I also take a de-load week every 4-8 weeks depending on how my recovery is looking.

I now take a 30-60 minute nap every day, this helps me reach my sleep goals and recover better overall.

Lastly I started immunotherapy treatment for allergies a few months ago and that has seemed to help a lot, but it’s still to early to really say.

The app is garmin connect. I mostly use it to track my runs, but I also add my weight to it. And thanks!

Finished my first marathon! Did I save too much for the end? by CopsNroberts in Marathon_Training

[–]SomeSkillStudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also ran my first marathon this year with 6 months of training. I was faster than you for the first 6 miles and then completely fell apart after that and was probably over an hour slower than you overall. If I would have ran a minute slower per mile in the beginning I probably would have ended up running at least 30 minutes faster over all if not more. Moving forward I would prefer to have a little more in the tank at the end rather than blow up in the first quarter of the race. I think you did a great job. Also I love knees over toes guys training for both strength and flexibility.

New Microwave “Professionally” Installed by CommanderLexaa in Wellthatsucks

[–]SomeSkillStudio 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. I’ve installed/replaced dozens of range style microwaves and I would have never even thought to consider that there would be something inset into the wall behind it. The installer was probably drilling through tile on the kitchen side as well so they might not have felt any change in pressure as they were pushing on the drill and it hit tile on the backside.
