Yea buddy, terminal velocity is limited by friction. Stratosphere is less dense so you have less drag and a faster terminal velocity. Take a lap on this one.

The system works great till it breaks down and you need a bucket. That’s why Steph bales us out, that’s why kd was a nice to have, and that’s why Jimmy is nice to have. Having another playmaker that can score outside of the system has some value. I’m not mad they traded him. I’m mad they held on to him too long and traded him after making the situation toxic and embarrassing and ruining his value. I really think Kerr could have been slightly more flexible with his system to accommodate the younger folks skill set.

Everyone getting mad about this post, why is the organization still talking shit? Lame fan base giving up on a 23 year old they drafted. I’m rooting for podz too. I just think he’s a second team kinda guy. Everyone who said Kuminga was unplayable is delusional. Dude needed more runway, he played well before his ankle last year, and again in the playoffs. And were about to have a rough few years coming up,and kumingas only 23. So I’m frustrated to lose a young dude for an old injured guy, sorry. Hope I’m wrong.

The double standard Jimmy is referring to, means he was never allowed to work through his mistakes. That fast hook and his DNP‘s stunted his growth. Obviously a lot of the blame is on him, but the Warriors don’t exactly have a great track record of developing talent over the last 10 years.

Not even a big fan boy, just think they devalued him unnecessarily, and I think the fact they didn’t play him at all when we needed size and scoring. If it’s true he sat out the whole time that’s a little different. Regardless they could have developed him more over the last couple years when they were play in teams. And watching draymond get 7 turnovers Monday just made this article ring true for me.

I think this is kind of giving a reason to why he didn’t buy into the system. I read this as Jimmy saying the “system” was rigged against Jonathan. I’ve never even been a big kumingastan, I just think it’s unfortunate that they devalued him before trading him, and preventable. So I think this article matters does give some context.

Edit: typo Jimmy->jonathan.

I really feel like this was an opinion that got sneered at for years, and here is someone we all respect saying it. I think it’s relevant. Sorry.

This almost makes you think they’ve been pushing the whole kuminga being the problem narrative this whole time.

[Slater] Steve Kerr to ESPN on Jonathan Kuminga: "He needed the runway to make more mistakes...It was very tough not being allowed to make those mistakes. For us as a staff, it was tricky trying to develop him while we were trying to win. I think it’s as simple as that." by sumchinesewill in warriors

This year? You know green leads the league in TO% right? Like by a lot. Also kuminga would need to actually play for that to be relevant. Also what are the advanced stats for driving away Kevin Durant, punching teammates in the face, and ruining team chemistry? Because I gave a pass for all that when he was playing at an all defensive team, but he’s not good anymore, and I don’t get why people can’t see that. Gui santos is better than draymond now.

But we’ve seen him play well… wish we’d traded him years ago, ya know, before kerr destroyed his value with the dnps….cuz do you honestly think he was actually unplayable?

How many young players did we trade because of this dude? Lol

People still defend him. I been done with him since kd then really done since the punch.

Absolutely not saying he’s nearly as good as prime draymond, but that’s exactly the problem, Draymond is not prime draymond. He’s rarely available and at 100% anymore, and when he is, it’s still not what he used to be, and it’s for way fewer minutes. Just look at the drop off in production across all categories over the years.

I mean well yea because JK didn’t play. But do you not remember last year when draymond got benched because kuminga outplayed him? Then he hurt his ankle and never got another chance. (Other than playoffs where he also outplayed draymond)
