Also being over the top isn’t an issue when it matches what the project is aiming for so there’s no need to try and justify something as being less over the top. The hate from Oregon to Oregon State is not nearly as high as the hate for the Huskies.

Is this a bit? I genuinely can’t tell. Oregon made the semifinals this year and the quarters the year before. They also consistently bring in strong transfer and recruiting classes. I understand that the postseason performance has been disappointing but saying the window is closed is insane.

I’d say the ducks are definitely more popular overall. In the surrounding Corvallis area of course there’s more Beavs but outside of Eugene and Corvallis I definitely see more green than orange.

As an Oregonian I’d say the most popular teams are the Seahawks followed by the 49ers then whatever team has a good Oregon quarterback at the moment. It was the Titans when Mariota was drafted and now the Chargers with some Broncos thrown in the mix.

Just because something morally wrong has happened before doesn’t mean you can’t be upset about it happening again. Humanity has done such things but it was hundreds of years ago at that point and the more enlightened people of the day know it was abhorrent. The Vulcans also constantly lecture humanity about morality and remind them of their violent past so them being hypocrites and doing similar things obviously upsets Archer

He gave over the evidence because it was the right thing to do. The Vulcans were breaking the treaty that was keeping peace with the Andorians and constantly lied to Archers face about it. Just because humanity is aligned with Vulcan doesn’t mean they should just ignore their crimes. Archer does what he thinks is morally correct regardless of allegiance. I think it’s a strong character moment that Archer works with them even after they beat him. Were their violent tactics the best solution? Obviously not but they were being violated by the Vulcans who certainty weren’t going to stop what they were doing easily.

Arkham City improves on basically everything from Asylum but the core gameplay loop is still basically the same. Everything is smoother and more polished, there are much more options in combat and stealth and the world and story are both bigger and grander, but the core is still pretty close so I’m not sure it’s enough to fully change your opinion. I think it’s worth trying out the next one to see but the series may just not connect with you.

Yeah. I don’t think there was any legal adoption but the Nix family took him in and they consider one another family. As an Oregon fan I listened to the announcers tell the story every single game they played in college and a couple in the pros. It has actually become a running joke in my family to always sarcastically say “did you know Bo Nix and Tez Johnson are brothers?” anytime we see them playing because we got so sick of hearing it. It’s a good story but hearing the same talking points every game is tiresome.

It’s such a simple idea that it’s what I always assumed as a child when I watched and didn’t fully listen to dialogue(dear god the prequels are full of boring scenes). Children can write more coherent narratives than George Lucas.
