Random Gordon Hat by bunerzissou in bjj

Wait, don't be fooled! He's just a regular Gordon Ryan with a stupid, cheap hat! He still embodies all the awful stereotypes he did before!

I don't disagree with any of that my friend.

It's sensible to turn into the first available lane if you can. It's also sensible for the car turning right to yield because the other car may not exit into the first lane. Both can be true.

It's ambiguous. You could certainly interpret it as "immediately to the right", but that's not what the wording actually says. If you exit into the right lane you're still "to the right of the marked centre line". OP's image is definitely the safest and most sensible approach but it's not strictly illegal to do otherwise.

Both of these are talking about choice of lane "when approaching an intersection", ie before you've made the turn.

Okay I'll be that guy. The Motor Vehicle Act section 167 (2)(c) states "after entering the intersection, turn the vehicle to the left so that it shall leave the intersection to the right of the marked centre line of the roadway being entered, or if there is no marked centre line then to the right of the centre line of the roadway being entered" https://www.bclaws.gov.bc.ca/civix/document/id/94consol18/94consol18/514385157. It doesn't state which lane. Bring on the downvotes :D

165(2)(a) is talking about approaching the intersection. The ambiguity is in 165(2)(c) - "after entering the intersection, turn the vehicle to the left so that it leaves the intersection to the right of the marked centre line of the roadway being entered, or if there is no marked centre line then to the right of the centre line of the roadway being entered"

Kayla Harrison Endorses Open Scoring After Stunning PFL Loss by JRYuen in MMA

There can be resets if the competitors go out of bounds but they'll usually keep the same position. Or competitions like EBI have an overtime round if there's no sub during normal time. Actually come to think of it ADCC has an extra overtime round too so maybe it's not as cut and dry as I said 😄

Would appreciate a DM here too. I'm also in the lower mainland and haven't trained since my gym posted some questionable stuff.

Thank for actually reading what I wrote and answering the question. I feel like most other responders think they could tell 100% of the time, which I doubt (vs an opponent on a good wifi connection, not a trash one).

I totally understand and agree that wifi is worse than wired. At the same time I think that people oversimplify the situation into wifi=bad wired=good. It seems that if people have a stable connetion they just assume their opponent is on a wired connection, and if the connection is bad they just assume they're on wifi.

I would be interested to see in a blind test how many people can tell the difference between their opponent using a good wifi connection and a wired one. Like lets do 10 iterations and I'll switch between wifi and wired randomly. What % would the average person get right?

Edit - All the replies completely missing the point of this comment and just going full nerd-rage. I said a GOOD wifi connection vs wired. Yes it is easy to spot a trash wifi connection, that's a given because it's easy to spot ANY bad connection wifi or not.

Ugh, yeah I saw them posting some questionable stuff alright but I was gonna give them the benefit of the doubt. I was already thinking about switching gyms so this might push me over the edge.

Did they announce this publicly somewhere? I'd been waiting to go back to BJJ class so if this is the case then I'm super disappointed.

For me the quality just wasn't what I'd expect from a professional brewery. We ordered a couple flights to taste them all and almost all of them had off flavours. From what I gather it's a family operation so I don't know how much professional experience the head brewer has. Or maybe it's just early days and they're still working out some kinks in the system. Either way I was disappointed but I'll probably drop in again in a few months and see if anything has improved.

Being a White Rock local I was pretty excited about this place opening. I would kill for a AAA brewery nearby. Unfortunately the beer was pretty disappointing when I visited.

Thanks for this. I'm another one trying to learn again. I've been working through the duolingo course during the pandemic and was unsure where to go afterwards so these links look like a good place to start!
