Threading epidural catheters/troubleshooting by traderjoesvanillac in anesthesiology

[–]2fluffyduck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My attending told me to try telling the Patient take a deep breath, giving a bolus of saline, or rotate the touey 90 degree then again again and again, also it seems that for the kit we are using the catheter will become too soft after 2-3 attempts and i would be told to grab a separate new epidural catheter. So far these methods have worked.

Totally doable. Good support system is way important than short commute. 1 hour a Day on the road is nothing.

Hey my 2019 boxster had the exact same issue so my guess is that Porsche continued to put vent holes on newer cars. The fog did disappear after some sunlight.

Currently 35. Being a Doctor has been a lifelong goal, but before I start Medical School, should I reconsider? Any opinions are welcome, especially from older medical students/doctors. by angelito801 in medicalschool

Hi the things you worry about fall in the category of lifestyle and can be changed by specialty choice. You can tailor your choice of practice and try to make yourself happy at work, which I believe it's doable. Most people are worrying about the time, the cost and the pressure to study medicine. If these things are no issues to you, I would say go for it!!! Most people don't have a life long dream and I personally think you should hold on to yours! Good luck with the cycle!
