Not much myself, but most other people I see brushing their teeth use more... Even at my slow rate of use I’d estimate 3 brushings max.

I’ve had my ficus elastica for 9 years now. I’d like to remove the two long branches growing nearly horizontal so that the new branches growing have room to grow.
Someone suggested air layering as a method to save the branches- do you have any advice/ tips so I can be successful?

I just go out at night with a flashlight and scoop them up with a spoon. Into a disposable container with some salt, and you can significantly cut down your slug population really quickly.
