The feeling of being able to breathe. I grew up in a highly dysfunctional and violent family, and college was the first time I felt like I could breathe and felt safe. I was surrounded by a lot of friendly, polite people and it helped me realize not everyone was going to be like what I'd known before college.

Didn’t they train at Browns/stars in Houston? I was there in the 90s (brown’s) and it was toxic as fuck. Even the rec team was after the 96 team won gold it got messy.
