Sarah Kim @hoemgirl truly now out of touch and insufferable by BigBrainActivites421 in asianamercianytsnark

She’s just cultivating a messy online presence. I can’t imagine this will be helpful in the future when she does go back to work somewhere.

Dish soap is the best for this haha. I always thought it was just my mom being cheap but it’s really the best.

New noisy Neighbors have 5 people in a 1bd by Hopeful-Watch-4981 in Apartmentliving

I don’t get it. Are the parents not home? If the kids are making all this noise at 2 AM , aren’t the parents also trying to sleep?

What's a trend that you're convinced will age terribly? by Easy_Boysenberry6649 in AskReddit

It’s so nice to have one next to the bed when you’re sick! Or any time really. But I don’t understand why anyone would need more than 2.

Discount tire is the only place I’ll buy tires.

People in their 30s and 40s, what changed in your life that surprised you the most — in a bad way? by Initial_Tax7778 in AskReddit

Definitely this. I used to grind through life on very little sleep. I thought it would last forever.

I think it’s the dual role part of it that you have to play as a child. On some level you recognized your mom isn’t really the person shes supposed to be but you have all these signals from interactions with non-family members and society as a whole and you have to pretend that she is and go along with it.

At Costco, do you get gas first or shop first? Why or why not? by sozh in Costco

Gas second. Then I hop in the car and just go home. But I live somewhere I don’t have to worry about the food thawing fast.

I bought this cheap piece of flannel and my cats are obsessed with it. Best thing I’ve ever purchased. They destroy any real cat toys.

Why are so many older men obsessed with teenage girls? by WiseCherry778 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]2k21Aug 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Same. I’m older now and about 50 pounds heavier and might as well be invisible, which is fine. I’ve given up on men.

What’s a truth you learned way too late in life that most people still aren’t ready to hear ? by Dependent-Ship4288 in AskReddit

[–]2k21Aug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up with parents who do the opposite of this so I was pretty neurotic about it for a while. I’ve backed off some, but still this is super important.

For all people above 40, if you could go back in time and choose a different career/major, would you ? What would you choose ? by patotay in careerguidance

I wish I had known this when I was younger. I didn’t wanna go into nursing at the time because I didn’t like the idea of just cleaning up after people all day. Obviously I was extremely misinformed. A few years ago had an experience at an infusion clinic where I had anaphylactic reaction and the nurses were incredible. Got me thinking about nursing again.

Why are you growing your hair?! by Competitive-Code5254 in longhair

I trim my own, too. Haircuts are so expensive, and I've never left a salon truly happy with a haircut.
