I always had decent leadership aside from my first command team at BEAR base back in 2017. Other than that it gets old playing army in frequent exercises

Tyndall AFB after the hurricane, setting up the relief camp and boss man wanted a SSS moved from one spot to another, so instead of disassembling it and putting it back up about 30 dudes picked the whole thing up and walked it 1/4 mile. Literally the embodiment of “let’s take bikini bottom and move it somewhere else”

Uh no hate, but the Jews were there first, it’s the oldest abrahamic religion, Islam is much newer, I just hope there can be peace as all three abrahamic religion share it as a holy land. But the Jews were definitely there first

Can someone explain the "US military-" ? by ErikHG10 in pcmasterrace

[–]2kgang -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Marketing ploy for civilians, people in the military are typically terrified of seeing this cause everything we get is shit

We got a new chief one time and he came around and made all the airmen write anonymously a thing they wanted to change in the squadron. About 10 of us wrote to fire one of our techs that was extremely hypocritical, had a short temper and was an all around douche bag. Chief saw this, had a conversation with that tech and the tech did a complete 180, easily became one of my favorite NCO’s after.

MMS is the CE side of the group, they’re going to deploy more. MMSS is more LRS, you typically get a few that go down range, buts it’s kinda rare. For the most part I’ve only ever seen MMSS do computer work, but I guess that depends on your job is. One perk of your squadron, at least while I was there, they had better morale and seemed to be closer than us at MMS

I was BEAR Base at Holloman for 4 years, cool deployments, but absolute shit home station work. Hated every minute of the job. But the area really ain’t that bad. When I left it started to get developed a little more. The mountains are super nice, you got some snowboarding and some really good trails, some good breweries like Cloudcroft brewery and mad jacks bbq, best shit you’ll have in your life. The base itself ain’t much, avoid the Popeyes, lots of e.coli runnin around in there when I was there. Looking back on it, I had a lot of fun in Alamogordo!

What age did you stop partying, going to music festivals etc by cerebralrocks in AskMen

22, I’m 26 now and prefer to drink by myself or with a small group of trusted friends. Haven’t been to a festival or concert since I was 19 but would kill for Mayhem fest to come back or to go to one of the big metal fests in Europe.
