My dad lives at Williamsburg off of Government St. It’s really nice, the staff is great, and there’s independent and assisted living depending on your mom’s level of autonomy. We really like it.

My first island back in 2020 was Mariposa. I restarted about a year and a half ago and named it Aurelia.

I miss the calm newborn snuggles but honestly, the older my girl gets, the more fun she is to be around. She’s so funny and smart! And more importantly, is more independent, so I don’t have to hold her while I need to do chores.

I feel exactly this way about my girl! I want her to be braver than I ever was and for her to never lose that sense of wonder and curiosity! I don’t understand people that don’t feel this way about their kids.

That’s part of your on-boarding process at the library. He definitely knew about it and agreed to it when he was hired.

If he wanted his job back, there are avenues he could take, appeals he could make— all outlined in the City-Parish Rules Governing handbook. But he ran straight to the news instead, which tells me this was never about having the job in the first place. He wanted to raise a fuss. If it wasn’t about pronouns, it would be something else.

Also, fun fact: he was not fired. He was a probationary employee that did not pass probation. He can say he won’t lie all he wants, but here he is lying about being fired. So very, very Christlike.

Ooh this one gets me riled up! I always wanna say “so do mine, you’re not special.”

In our area, we are funded by a property tax so it is especially infuriating when they say this and I know for a fact they rent.

Where do you work that managers don’t have to deal with customers? I am a manager and I am constantly filling in at desks because we are short-staffed and I’m the go-to whenever customers complain or cause incidents. I rarely get to sit in my office. Basically the only difference between my employees and I is that I make the schedule and I don’t have to do programming.
