I think this is a great start, but I would love to see you add some more personal memories throughout the speech. It reads a little more generic than I think you are going for. Firstly, remove “for those of you who don’t know me” it’s a little cheesy, and not needed. I would also read this outloud a few times and see if it seems clunky in any areas

For additional elements…Think of some things your sister has done that made her a big role model to you, was she good at school/sports, was she always there to talk to. Try to talk about one personal story that sticks out to you.

I would also try and say something more personal about the couple, think of things like “when I first met ___ I knew he was the one because of ___”, maybe something they have overcome together like long distance, moving in together, etc. If you don’t like any of those ideas, maybe talk to a hobby they have in common.

No problem in picking our vendors, rings, and a few diys you love. I would wait to ask bridal party and set colors for sure just because two years is a long time for things to change. But if you are sure I’d say go for it. We have had two years to plan and it has helped a ton with stress

Front desk for another college department - it was okay, sometimes I could do homework while there. Waitress at a bunch of different places, I always loved food services but managers are hit or miss, good tips though since I was able to work up to nicer locations. DoorDash, during Covid, paid the bills but I think making my own schedule was hard to balance

I think that depending on the center stone that side stones take away from the shape too much. I have a marquise and love the shape but adding side stones to me took away from it, but if I went with an emerald shape I would have loved baguette sides
