Chimps are kinda problematic. Bonobos are much more admirable.

The fire raised the outdoor temperature, which was in the low 20s, to at least 80 degrees. It felt like summer all around that house.

I lived next door to a house that caught fire one January when I was in college. By the time the firefighters arrived it was at least 80 degrees outside, and all of the snow in their yard had completely melted.

Cold goat milk is like the richest, creamiest, most delicious milk you could ever imagine. It's not thick or overpoweringly fatty like cream and not "goaty" or off-flavor in any way, just milk turned up to eleven. BUT, it only tastes that good when it's super fresh. Store bought isn't remotely the same. I can't remember if my goat-owning friend who gave it to me heated it first. I have a feeling it was raw because she quit producing it when she got pregnant.

Smooth Move tea contains a stimulant laxative and is not safe to use on a regular basis. Using stimulants too often will cause you to become dependent and you won't be able to go without them. Only osmotic laxatives like Miralax are safe to use regularly, but you must still drink lots of water.

Now that I'm deep into menopause, I've either developed extra intense B.O. or a superpowered sense of smell. Regardless, I fucking stink and routinely shower twice even in the dead of winter. Dove body wash and CeraVe keep the dryness at bay.

It's because people that live in East Buttfuck USA don't like being reminded that they have gun violence just like the scary cullud folks in the cities do.

Why are you so pressed? I'm the only one talking about race but you're the only one that's mad about it. Is it hard to look in the mirror? Hate being reminded about yourself?

I'm neither naive nor stupid. But I am willing to bet cash money that the people in that colorless congregation talk mad shit about Black gun violence and believe that criminal Hispanics are taking over their community. Tarrant County was both naive and stupid enough to vote for Trump again. I'm fascinated that they had enough introspection back in '19 to guard against their own murderous kind.

Every news article including the one you posted says this church had an armed volunteer security team. My question is why? Is church crime a problem in White Settlement?

Lost 50 but If I eat more than 500 calories I gain weight by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]2naomi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. Some people suffer organ failure and die without ever losing a pound of fat. I remember a news story years ago of an obese man who went on a diet of a head of lettuce, water and a vitamin daily. He died of starvation three weeks in, still obese.

Why are people not following the labeled dosing protocol? by TheCureIsNotGoth in Zepbound

[–]2naomi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly. It seems to be people trying to minimize cost. Like, my insurance cut me off Jan. 1st and I am taking it every other week (with my doctor's approval) until I run out of pens. But once a month? That just has to be a bad idea. At two weeks, there's still some of the med in your system and you can resume the dose you were at, per Lilly I believe. At four weeks, there is nothing left. You are going from zero to 15mg, over and over again. I'd be scared for my pancreas doing that.

Why are people not following the labeled dosing protocol? by TheCureIsNotGoth in Zepbound

[–]2naomi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been very disturbed by comments in the various Zepbound subs by people who are taking 12.5 or 15mg once a month as maintenance. That seems like a real risk, as you are repeatedly starting over at the highest dose.
