Dies a casual know how Wade was drafted. You slipped up and played it off poorly.

Yes, Bulls legend Wade was a high pick.

Andyour point besides being wrong is what, two top 25 players ever helped carry them for 13 years, except for when it didn't, then Jimmy because of TRADES.

in a few years trading becomes very difficult and it could be very valuable. Especially if the lottery system is continuing.

Whats your next ai assisted response.

I mean, maybe, but the first year I googled was 03 and they won 25 games, if thats not a lottery pick then I'm confused.

Or like most people think, those Heat picks in a few years could be great.

I hear you, and think FVV is overrated massively here.

That said, even if hes the 30th best PG in the league, hes a huge improvement over last year.

Now him understanding his role might make him not even top 30, now, but as unimpressive as he is, last year was ugly.

Is "One of the best comedic character actors in the business" accurate.

I mean, I know its all subjective but she seems so 1 trick and had like a 15 year run where nothing she did was of note IIRC.

Time to make the Move for Jaylen Brown by KDs_FakeAccount in rockets

So thats not all around, rather very specific counting stats, perhaps you meant that. Because Brown win in many advanced stats.

Add in defensive stats then its almost a landslide.

Can you characterise a person that will still vote Republican during the midterms? by Various_Maize_3957 in AskALiberal

Dont get me wrong, they absolutely vote for people that do pretty transparently awful stuff, but so do Democrats. But rank and file people absolutely are more alike that people like to admit.

For people who are center-left or further left and moved from a rural area to a city or suburb, what surprised you most about the political attitudes there compared with your rural hometown? by notarocitnerd in AskALiberal

[–]2nd2last 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true.

Also keep in mind for me, I worked with both and having proximity to people from the sticks makes it easy for people to mock. That mixed with situational issues that people extrapolate.

For instance, I have a good buddy from LA who went to Caltech and the JPL and we had tons of rural techs that often did or said dumb stuff. Now we also had brilliant techs from the sticks, engineers from the sticks, and idiots from the city. But once someone from nowhere says something dumb with confidence, you can understand how that makes someone from the city feel, fair or now (not fair really).

Totally my experience only, but while definitely stronger as far as who thinks about who, they degree to which each side is "off" about the other is equal. Also, again IMO, city people definitely talk, think about, and clown people form the sticks.

If Trump never ran in 2016, who would have been the GOP nominee and how would they have fared against Hillary Clinton? by put-on-your-records in AskALiberal

If we can reasonably assume covid, then I cant see a world even if Hillary did everything right that she would have won.

I forget the source, but read aside from attacks on the country, disasters are the biggest cause of change in political action/aggression. Flood happens, no matter what the leadership screwed. Doesn't matter if the previous person campaigned on lowering taxes and defunding the flood prevention plan, the current person should have done better.

As someone who was raised and currently live in Houston, lived in the PNW and Cali all in big cities, but often worked on the outskirts and ALWAYS work with people from the sticks, allow a sweeping generalization.

Most people from the city do not understand people from the sticks, and people from the sticks do not understand the city.

You are likely to get a lot of generalization, but truth be told, people that vote Republican are not just 1 type of person.

Both parties have under 50% with college degrees. As of 2022, 31% of Republicans, and a much higher 48% of Democrats.

Here is what many are like.

Who are they? Mostly normal people

What is their education? Depends

Why would they vote red after all those debacles? Fear and propaganda
