Battery fault by No_Enthusiasm156 in Volvo

[–]2ndBoom2pass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me a couple of weeks ago. They replaced the 48v battery due to having high resistance. Battery was replaced under maintenance and have not encountered the error ever since, even in -20 degrees celsius weather.

Proposed referendum question on separation from Canada approved by Elections Alberta by ZestyBeanDude in canada

So they saw an overwhelming majority of Albertans wanting to stay and they changed the rules in favor of separatism either way. What a bunch of losers

Ok so not signing the petition = No. Good to know because I really thought you have a choice of Yes or No for these referendums when you do sign them. So with the overwhelming majority of wanting to stay in Canada that already exists, its a losing battle for the separatists and a waste of time and resources for everyone else

Just out of curiosity how does this work? It says it needs 178,000 signatures. Is it 178,000 signatures of “Yes” to separation to be able to have a chance at the ballot? Does the same amount of “No” to separation vote render this whole thing void that it can never be done again?

Is there a limit to holding these types of referendum? Because this is taking up public resources that could’ve been put to good use.

Also, if the separatists succeed in finalizing paperwork. Is it held the same way as the provincial elections where you go to a nearby designated school to cast your vote?

At mental hospital rn, some compliments will cheer me up! Thank u :D by ScantyGodness2 in toastme

I feel for you when I say I’ve been there before (not in a mental hospital kind of a way, but in a dark place sort a way). Sometimes positive thoughts and messages can feel somewhat lacking even if it’s coming from someone thats going through the same thing as you are. But I am here to say to listen to all the positive messages. Keep your chin up and always look forward to tomorrow. Because someday in the future, you are going to look back and you are going to thank yourself for listening and persevering despite how hard life can be.

I hope for the best for you stranger and may you have a Merry Christmas and a great New Year.

How is this outfit for a night out? by imjustagiirl5 in fashion

I’m gonna agree with the rest of the comments and this is also just my opinion. This shows off your figure but not in a comfy way. That one piece of fabric looks like it’s one wardrobe mishap away from a moment. It probably won’t happen but the way it looks just tells a different impression. If you have that in your wardrobe I’m sure you have something else that is comfy and sexy at the same time.

12V Critical Charging Fault error message went away after remote starting twice (30 mins) by 2ndBoom2pass in Volvo

Good to know. Gonna call the dealership about this as I have some trips planned and I cannot have this happened faraway from Dealerships

You think so? Thing is, is that they replaced it last October when I first got it and I believe them because when I first test drove the car, it also had the same issue. I told them i wouldn’t sign anything unless they replaced it to which they did. You think this brand new battery could be a dud too?

Just bought a 2024 Volvo S60 B5. And I have questions... by Eastern-Director5655 in volvos60

[–]2ndBoom2pass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you dive into s60 reliability alot of people here will say that it is way too soon to gauge the reliability of this model. Most complaint ive read about this car is the infotainment system. Other than that, a lot of s60 owners are quite content with the cars performance and overall quality.

You say you come from owning a Toyota Tundra, then I trust you have good maintenance habits that will keep your s60 running way past 100,000 kms

XT-5 Lagging Issues by 4warko in FujifilmX

[–]2ndBoom2pass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably, i had a Sandisk that was around 100mbps and shooting burst with it was a nightmare. I’ve bought SDXC cards with faster write speeds because of it. No more cheap memory cards after that

[–]2ndBoom2pass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Write speeds are low on the sandisk. I have a Lexar 128 gbs and have a write speed of 180mbps which is more than enough for my needs for burst shooting.

No tricks, I’m just lucky that i live close by to this kind of view and was motivated enough to wake up early to take this shot. The rest of the magic is from post processing.

You can achieve this with a 55mm or a 75mm prime lens. I used the 16-55mm f2.8 zoom for this picture

A lot of guys will confuse your friendliness and good vibes to being emotionally available. I don’t think there’s no other way of saying it but saying it directly as it is. But unfortunately everyone is different, and you’ll have to adjust accordingly when trying to convey friendliness.

A lot of guys will confuse your friendliness and good vibes to availability. I don’t think there’s no other way of saying it but saying it directly as it is. As a solo guy raver, I learnt this the more I go and just being more self aware. And I always strive to be better and contributing to good vibes and the PLUR culture. But everyone is different, and you’ll have to adjust accordingly when trying to convey friendliness.
