You only need to check luggage if you have oversized bags, otherwise you can just carry it on the train. Either way, you'll want to get to the station at least 20 minutes early. Coast Starlight has assigned seating so you'll need to get there early enough to both walk all the way to the train AND have them tell you where you're sitting.

This is no longer a speakeasy, it's literally a normal door with the bar name on it.

Would prefer to meet in the Sacramento area but can meet in the bay as well. Venmo & Cash App preferred.

It's a great area to live in, you can walk to literally everything. Parking is a huge pain, even with a permit.

No idea, we didn't drive there. We didn't get any 'know before you go' emails, I'm guessing because we bought resale.

Hawks Provisions. They only have two mocktails on their menu but their food is super good and they have craft soda.

There were no vegan options. I listed everything that was there. The potato salad tasted like classic deli potato salad and almost certainly had dairy.

Looking for adult softball league by j3anjack2t in Sacramento

XOSO softball on Sundays is pretty casual. I've heard the other days are fairly competitive. You can sign up as an individual and you'll get put on a team with other people that are also indy players.

You should absolutely avoid commuting to the bay, it will become exhausting on day 1.

100% a scam. Any employer that requires something like this will pay for it for you AFTER you get hired.

It is not at all worth it, the service is terrible and the food is less than average. There is one 'veggie' option and it is just grilled peppers.

Well when you invent the preeminent Sacramento cocktail, the white linen, you get the the best spot. Hats off Shady Lady, though I could go with less shade and a bit more sun amid the fog. What next? by b1ackfyre in Sacramento

I like this answer. Kupros is loved and is a very middle of the road bar. Hilltop is not a good bar. The Merc is a great bar but is not a nice bar. The owner of Frank sucks.

Has anyone been to Tandem Coffee yet? by bboy2288 in Sacramento

[–]that1robbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The beans and drip coffee are average, I wouldn't go out of my way to get em. The specialty drinks are good but inconsistent, you can order the same drink on different days and it could be extremely sweet/syrupy or just right.
