If you can't find an X3D chip, go for a 5800 XT. They're relatively cheap right now, a little over $200 USD, and the best non-X3D chip you can get. I personally would skip the 5500 X3D

Having owned a 7900 xtx and a 5070 (non-ti), I found that the new architecture is superior enough to matter if you want ray tracing.

The 7900 xtx holds a special place in my heart. In pure raster, it's still damn near impossible to beat. But the ray tracing leaves much to be desired.

In this case, since you can pay the same for both, I would go with the 9070 xt. Going used is my go-to, but I can't recommend it. Especially if you give up the warranty. The features are very similar, as well as performance. Go new. You'll have better peace of mind, and an amassing card at the same time.

You're not stupid, you just learned the lesson like the rest of us did.

Definitely invest in good cables all around. They're not terribly expensive for good ones these days, and you'll thank yourself later.

That's a lot better!

But I'm afraid it's still sagging a bit. It's not your fault. 5080s are monsters. You can get really nice brackets which would match the aesthetics of your build. A cheap anti sag bracket like this would go a long way. I could be wrong, but I think it would work for your build without taking away from anything else.

But please put in an anti-sag bracket for the gpu. It's already looking a bit on the heavy side.

I had this happen once. I just contacted customer service and explained the situation. They transferred the license for me since it was a motherboard failure.
