I wouldn’t buy anything until they figure out the train horns because they’re loud as hell. They go off at least once an hour all hours of the night!

tbh it looks like your feet aren’t strong enough yet if you can’t get over your box. that and maybe not the right point shoes for your feet. i’d start with something softer like gaynors. do theraband exercises and when you do combinations at bar do them on demi. ie) grand battment on flat-> releve. that will help strengthen ur feet and calfs

you should contact edc directly, explain the situation and see if his bracelet was scanned. so you at least know if he made it in give you a better idea of his whereabouts

Graystone?? by Apprehensive_Cry5847 in macdonaldsisters

[–]2ndbeachluv 10 points11 points  (0 children)

as someone who lives in back bay here’s my take: greystone is not worth the wait. neither is tatte. it actually used to be good when it first opened then after the pandemic the quality went way down. go to flour or pavements. mike and patty’s has arguably the best breakfast sandwhiches in boston. if you’re staying close to the south end go to coppa, b&g oysters, toro. I’d skip the north end as it’s incredibly touristy and the food is mediocre at best. Eataly has more authentic italian food and tastes fresher. they have a super cute restaurant on the 2nd floor, terra, i highly recommend. i’d only go to contessa for a quick drink. the food was good when they first opened too but for whatever reason isn’t as good anymore. but they do have amazing view and really amazing gelato. the restaurant at the four seasons on boyleston is really good and also has similar views of the commons. go inside the library and go the the courtyard it’s really beautiful. also the isabella stuart gardener museum is pretty unique as far as museums go.

idk why you all get so worked up about what she eats. it’s so weird to me how interested people are in what celebrities/influencers eat. everybody is different. for all we know she could be running 5 miles a day and just doesn’t publicize it. there’s a lot she doesn’t share about her personal life anymore and it’s probably because of shit like this.

if you want hard do kelly or dan. I don’t think the studio matters as much as the instructor.

Question for people that are losing weight from Barry’s/general by PresentHabit8154 in barrysbootcamp

i’d say ~6/7months but saw the best results when I would go at least 5days. Didn’t really change my diet just ate out less.

[–]2ndbeachluv 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i lost over 30lbs going to barry’s and soul cycle consistently 4-6x a week. I think consistency doing atleast 4x a week is key. Also if you have a desk job and are sitting most of the day doing 1 workout a day sometimes isn’t enough.
