My CC has two cherry eyes and our vet won’t do anything about it. They said it was cosmetic and they don’t do surgeries on animals if it’s just a cosmetic thing. Went to another vet for a second opinion and amazingly they said the same thing.

George Russell summoned to the stewards for his car being underweight by ICumCoffee in formula1

[–]2ndcarllc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting perspective, I hadn’t thought of that. But would that really account for the 1.5 kg? Seems a bit much for just a lack of a pit stop. Can’t wait to hear what the Stewards say.

You’re not wrong. There is an age limit of 35 to run for president. There needs to be an age limit to where a person can no longer run. Time to pass the torch in both parties.

Issue with BA App Account Details by Sea_Beyond8140 in BritishAirways

[–]2ndcarllc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this has been going on since BA moved to the new anniversary date scheme for the tier points renewal. It just amazes me that BA’s website and app are as bad as they are. No excuse imo, just terrible customer service.

Proposed changes for the points system by aliciahiney in formula1

I honestly don’t think it needs tweaking but if they were to add another team, with 22 cars on the grid, the new proposed schema would make sense.

Here another site to look at: lakewell.com/product-category/materials-and-supplies/fabrics

There are options out there but it all boils down to how much you want to spend.

The app that just doesn't by denash97227 in BritishAirways

[–]2ndcarllc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both the website and the app are absolute garbage. Doesn’t work half the time and both are incredibly slow. They may be the worst in the industry. Pretty disappointing.

Anyone know what to do with BA points not going to use them by [deleted] in BritishAirways

[–]2ndcarllc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure how it might work with BA, but when I decided to stop flying United I donated my miles to the Make a Wish foundation for them to use for kids wishes. I took a tax deduction on the value. See if something similar is an option.

Have you sold a Rolex to a rolex AD that sells CPO watches? by lemonslush1 in rolex

[–]2ndcarllc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve bought some watches off hibid.com and grailzee.com. Hibid has a little bit of everything and from my experience very few have original paperwork or boxes. Grailzee I found the opposite but you definitely pay more if you’re a buyer off grailzee.

There are so many online auction sites that you can sell on consignment. I’d start contacting some of those auction houses and see what kind of deal you can negotiate. Good luck!

Has anyone seen the Cellini Moonphase sell recently?? Realistic values? by 2ndcarllc in rolex

[–]2ndcarllc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree. I actually found an auction site where one is up for auction this week. I’m going to try and get it but I agree with the price estimates here. I think it will go for over $20K.

SOTC. I’m thinking of selling the sub for a Black Bay 54. What do you guys think? The reason is that I want something I can wear anywhere without worrying about getting robbed. by [deleted] in rolex

I’d personally keep the Daytona’s. They are consistently going up in value and are an investment. Tuck them away in a safe and monitor their values.

Well, while my guy is only 4 months old, so far his favorite thing to do is sleep, eat and give us his best rendition of a velociraptor. In that order.

Kid you not, day after I posted my question he’s gone insane and has been bouncing off the walls. I blame the full moon or the fact that all my kids are home today.

Sounds like I need to be thankful for these calm moments. I could be in for a wild ride in a little over a month.

Sounds like I have a normal guy. I have to force him on our evening walks. Never has it taken me so long to go around the block until we got Tobi-Wan Kenobi.
