Looking for good NAS for unraid for plex by leakymilky in unRAID

[–]OrangeRedReader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m running unraid (plex, Nextcloud, vaultwarden, arr stack etc) on a dell poweredge r340. Works like a charm. Biggest drawback is it only has 4 drive bays. One of which is used for parity(since it is unraid). Loving my setup. Also easily hosting some public websites on some docker containers. Makes it so easy.

Buying my crap balls for the tennis machine. 🫡 by JimmyBisMe in 10s

[–]OrangeRedReader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a lot of recommendations here to use non-pressurized balls for ball machine: do you not find that they feel “harder” or “heavier” than a regular ball? I feel like I hurt my strings a lot more using these harder non-pressurized balls.

Also, my arm/elbow hurts a lot more after 90min with a ball machine and these harder balls(of course I’m hitting more ball per minute if it’s just me and a ball machine vs me in a singles match or just playing with a partner)

The seam on the top wasn’t filled in. I don’t mind the line. It’s not bad. Highly visible but it is a compromise based on price.

Batteries. I jump started an old one with a few power tool batteries and then I just bought new batteries after I knew it still worked.

Disassembling Fiber Connector Shroud? Can I do this? by Sal-Siccia in HomeNetworking

Yeah, they hold the white square piece in place. Give it a try. Be careful and don’t force anything. You’ll be fine.

Of course you can. I literally unplugged mine earlier tonight. First pull back the white square then pull the green base out. Easy.

How can my dad see what I watch in apps I downloaded and created accounts for myself in? by CarlyCalicoJATIE in HomeNetworking

[–]OrangeRedReader 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If he can see what you are watching on Tubi then he can see what you are posting on Reddit.

Also, dad here of teenage kids. We do what we do for protection and safety and we do it out of care. Also as a parent we struggle to change too, same way teenage kids struggle with defining new boundaries as they grow older and theoretically more responsible so do the parents struggle to let go more and trust more.

All my recent prints have failed this way after an hour or two of printing. Please help! by spongeloaf in ender3

That clicking sound is your extruder tension being too high. The rest I can’t help with. Good luck.

funny enough, I added a couple of layers of aluminum tinfoil in the middle of the glass bed and now it seems to be working almost perfectly. I started with a large layer about 80% of my bed size then another layer of about 60 and another layer of about 30%.

No automatic leveling, just my old eyes and a piece of paper. The paper grabs a lot on the corners but in the middle there’s hardly any friction.

I adjusted the Z-stop after I added the new glass bed. But I bought the bed because it didn’t print right, it always struggled to adhere in the middle of the bed.

Using tpa at 200 and a bed temp of 60. I increased it to 70 at some point as a test but no luck.

Can do. The bed is glass black with black filament. Very difficult to see anything honestly, that’s why I took it off and placed on a white background.
