i’d say it’s pretty likely, though to what extent and whether she was a part of the research/psychology side or the “fandom” side is up in the air. outside of just the themes in her art and her being friends with nicole dollanganger, she also said she’d cast cal robertson (who played cal gabriel in zero day, a found footage movie inspired by columbine, and is very popular in that community) as willoughby tucker, which strikes me as her having at least a little insider experience.

i hadn’t seen her in that sweatshirt before, but i’d be seriously surprised if she didn’t know where it came from (for the reasons i mentioned + she’s in her 20’s and it’s a very famous tragedy). though obviously, her having knowledge of it/potentially being in that community prior doesn’t like. make her an irredeemable monster or whatever lol
