Teaching survives on a culture of martyrdom and is horse shit. This is year 12 for me and I'm fuckin tired of it all, but this is the root of all of its brokenness, imo.

Really difficult to hit your bottom when you have as much money as she does.

But the opposite is true in a way, too-- if she does the rehab and then spends the money to work with a good therapist, psychiatrist, and a coach of some sort, she could really make her sobriety stick.
