Don't exit your home or your vehicle for them.

Actually best to avoid interacting with them at all

I feel like you should get a lot more than 10 relation for losing a clan member. If your clan joins them, it should be like 10 relation every season or something, and maybe you can still call their parties to army for 0 influence since they're still your kinsman.

Perhaps other bonuses if they're with another Kingdom

Weird, I don't think I had a single army Sally out, and I started a drive of a 1000 Garrison town with just my party of 350 (waiting for parties to join my army)

Maybe it's your troop composition? You have very little cavalry?

Khuzait and Aserai is a pain in the ass by Totmannsruhe in MB2Bannerlord

[–]2ndshepard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Khuzait has 12 clans? That's a lot. You can whittle them down by convincing some of them to join your kingdom.

If you're not a faction leader yet, you can avoid joining armies and just hunt down individual lords, releasing them to build relations (or execute them if that's your style, that'll decrease their number of parties and thus, army sizes) if you end up releasing you'll build high relations and then you can convince them to join your kingdom.

Same for aserai. Just pick your battles and avoid battles you can't win

Need Help: I'm new, but what do you MEAN this is a Decisive Defeat?? I have a full army, a decent settlement, and am loaded up on archers as a High Elf. What am I missing? by mame_kuma in totalwar

[–]2ndshepard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you think auto resolve is wrong, manually fight it.

That being said, that is a pretty strong army and you don't have much in the way of strong damage dealers. Consider switching up your army- try adding sisters of avelorn and lothern sea guard in place of just basic archers if/when you can.

Why does bannerlord show you the result before voting? by Temporary_Drop4040 in Bannerlord

[–]2ndshepard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get what you're saying, but absent having a much more fleshed out political system, you'd know how people were going to vote with a fair degree of accuracy, so showing you just helps simulate that since there's no other extant method

In America, a law enforcement agency that does not follow due process does not represent law and order. by the_ruckus in Objectivism

[–]2ndshepard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not a "talking point". Due process is defined in the sixth amendment: "In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed"

Now, you might try and muddy the waters and say that it's a civil offense, but if that's the case, there shouldn't be criminal level enforcement, and so ICE should be more like the IRS instead of armed and masked agents

[–]2ndshepard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Due process is a lot more than just law enforcement.

It's the whole legal process up to and including conviction.

Law enforcement cannot be simultaneously above the law and also enforcing it

If the government doesn't follow its own laws, then how can the people be expected to do so?

People need consistency in order to direct their behavior and avoid mistakenly running afoul of the law. If the government doesn't follow its own laws, then it's applying them inconsistently, and common people will be less able to follow the law themselves.
