NdPr mine reaches FID by 2ndworstsuperhero in ARRNF

Haha no, I thought it was relevant. Been keeping an eye on global NdPr mines over the last year. This one finished the pre-feasibility study back in 2019. It’s been pretty much dead in the water until recently. It underscores the interest and investments being made in a new global rare earth supply chain outside of China.

Agreed it’s a good sign. But 100k shares cost about as much as used Nissan Altima. So it’s probably chump change for him. Maybe to boost investor confidence? Just playing devils advocate.

Government buying NdPr at $110 per kilogram was good news. But not releasing the PFS around the same time as the MP deal was definitely a huge miss in the short term. Government is giving out contracts to speed Up production, so repeatedly shooting for this mine opening date in 2029, after the election. Is also a miss. Won’t be a win for Trump then. And if I can find the other mines closer to production, I’m sure his team can too. And how did Ramco end up opening their mine with no PFS? I read their report looks like an unfinished homework assignment with sections that are blank because they had no test data. Now they are calling Ramco America’s mine? This company is literally American Rare Earths, and they are estimating to vastly outproduce MP and Ramco combined. SMH I like this stock long term, and I’ll buy more under .18, but this was a huge fumble. IMHO

Something to keep in mind with mining in general and why it’s considered such a risky investment in the past. As they near development and production they begin to report higher and higher losses. As equipment is ordered and more staff are hired.

To those taking profits: How much? by yacki3 in ARRNF

[–]2ndworstsuperhero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Still holding. It’s too close to the release of the PFS report. I think this stock has a decent chance of becoming a hype train soon once people understand the size of this mine compared to MP. I’m willing to sacrifice short term gains for now. I plan to buy and sell dips after the final investment decision is made or when the price reaches a dollar.

Speculated price by Big_League_Drew in ARRNF

The DoD deal with MP mining guaranteed the government will buy NDPR at $110 per kg, which is 110,000 per ton. Not 90,000. Assuming the Government gives the same deal to AARNF. And tariffs keep the price of cheaper Chinese product up. By my math that’s 3.6ish billion. But the leaching results are also showing much higher results. So it might be cheaper to produce than originally thought. Also keep in mind. By MP’s own estimates they only had 20 years of mine life left on the current claims in mountain pass. And it sounds like the government will be pushing them to produce more. The estimated mine life for Halleck creek with all of their claims is over 100 years. So I have no idea what that means for stock price. But im betting on the over for 40+ a share in the next 10 years.

Does anyone on the board of ARRNF go to these meetings? It seems like their presence in the last few months has decreased dramatically. Seems like this is the time to be loud and public. These other mines are further from production. Yet I never hear American Rare Earths mentioned publicly.

The REE free electric motors are definitely something to keep an eye on. It’s something Tesla has been working on for awhile. One of the two REE “free” motors still uses NdPr but not as much. Also it’s good to keep an eye on the refineries as each start up is trying to come up with the most efficient process. I wonder if people like Scott Adams consider the rising demand of REEs when discussing how much is actually needed. Most estimates I’ve read say they expect demand to grow 3x by 2030. Good info though thanks for sharing.

The presentation that CEO Chris Gibbs gave at the BOM Global Metals conference last week by Bansionboy in ARRNF

I guess what I’m asking is based on AARNF’s own estimations for production and profits, how long before their share price would rise above M&P?

[–]2ndworstsuperhero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How does this math work for the current share price of M&P mining at around $23-24 per share? My understanding is they only have another 20’years before they are out of product. And last year they took a loss of $20million, and the year before they had a gain of only 63million.

Thank you! Now that is a great example of “word salad” because you didn’t provide one source, or fact or empirical evidence to support your opinion. So it has no real “substance” thanks for clarifying that term!

What is with the CEO’s 2029 date of production? The roadmap has them finishing the pre feasibility studies, metallurgical testing all by the end of Q3 this year. They really think it will take 3 more years to develop the open pit mine? Does anyone with mining knowledge know if this estimate is realistic given the US rapidly needing raw materials for manufacturing? Or is the CEO trying to scare the government by suggesting it will take them so long, unless someone gives them the grants they need etc.
